Chapter 11

Kristoff was racing down the snow mountain with the others at Sven's heels and Jack flying ahead. Jack tried to keep far away from his sister worrying that he would make her even more cold.

"How is she?" He yelled down to Kristoff.

"She's going to be fine I'll make sure of it!" Kristoff yelled back.

Kristoff looked at Anna and she was still shivering and pale. He instinctively put his hat on her head.

"You're going to be okay." He said to her.

Finally they got to the gates of Arendelle.

Servers opened the gates rushing to Princess Anna's aid.

"Thank you for bringing her home." A servant said.

"Make sure she gets warm and bring Prince Hans to her immediately."

"We will."

"Make sure she's safe!" He called back as the gates closed,

"What now?" Rapunzel asked.

"Now I need to go back to the forest." Kristoff said sullenly.

"What?! You can't do that! We have to make sure she's alright!" Jack said.

"We've done all we can do she's where she's meant to be." Kristoff said.

"Kristoff, she's my sister! I'm not going to lose her when I've just met her! And no one can see me! You have to help me!" Jack said.

"I can't. Alright! I have to go back. You have friends that can help you. I belong in the mountains and in the woods."

"You know that's not true! Admit it you care for Anna just as much as I do! " jack said.

Kristoff breathed a heavy sigh. "I do care about her a lot but that's why I have to go. She's with her true love she'll be happier without me here like it always was." He said.

"Come on Sven."

The mountain man and his reindeer headed up towards their home.

"What are we going to do! I can't be seen! We can't bring a freakin dragon in the castle! One of my sister's shot the other one with ice and now she's dying and I can't do anything because I'll just make her more cold!" Jack yelled throwing down his staff.

"Jack calm down." Merida said.

"I can't keep calm. I have to get to my sister. Just to see if she's okay." Jack flew up pass the castle gates.

"This does not look good." Hiccup said.

"He'll be fine he can't be seen. Rapunzel said.

Meanwhile......

"Hans please." Anna begged as Hans put out the fire.

"You know Anna I had all my plans figured out and then I hear you have a long lost brother! Well now I guess their will have to be two accidents." Hans said.

"You won't get away with this." Anna said

"Oh Anna, I already have." He said shutting the door and locking it.

Jack searched the castle through and through until he finally found a room with a big window. He peaked inside and saw Anna. Her hair white and she was collapsed on the ground.

"Anna!" Jack yelled. He opened the window and shut it tight.

He was about to run to her when he realized he would probably make it worse.

"Anna say something!"

"Jack?" She asked weakly.

"Anna! Okay okay we gotta get you warm but uh how?"

Jack looked around and saw the fire place.

It was the only way....he thought

He put some wood in the fireplace and got a match.

"Okay Jack you can do this....it's for Anna....you can do this......" He said and scratched the match on some wood and it lit into a tiny flame.

"See not so bad." Jack said he threw it into the firewood.

It became engulfed on flames making Jack jump back.

"Don't faint don't faint. The fire can't touch you fire can not touch you." He said.

He picked up Anna and put her near the fireplace.

"Thank you Jack." She said.

"You just keep warm I should be further away I'll make you more cold."

"No you don't have to the fire's warm enough." She said.

"Well I prefer to stay away from the fire." He said.

"You're....you're afraid of fire?" She asked.

"Terrified....this is the closest I've been to one well besides when you lit that sleeping bag on fire."

"Oh my goodness no wonder you fainted of I would've known...."

"Hey it's okay. I'm fine really." Jack said still making sideways glances at the fire.

"You were afraid if fire but you still lit one to keep me warm."

"Hey we're family now....and more importantly we're friends and I'm your brother I need to protect you." He said.

"But you could melt!" She said.

"Some people are worth melting for." Jack said

She hugged him tightly tears welling up in her eyes. "Thank you." She said. "I.....I...just really need to hear that right now."

"Hey it's okay....and what about that Hans guy why wasn't he in here making sure you had a fire?"

"He wasn't the man I thought he was he tricked me into believing he loved me so he could rule Arendelle....you have to get out of here before he finds you!"

"Why? He probably can't see me anyway. Although I would like to give him a punch to the face."

"You have to find Elsa he said he's going to try to kill you and Elsa!"

"Hey there you guys are I've been looking all over for you!" Olaf said walking into the room.

"Woah! Heat!!!!" Olaf said running to the fire.

"Olaf don't!!" Anna and Jack said.

"Ouch ouch!! Don't touch it." Olaf said shaking his hand."

"By the way Kristoff's running a little late."

"What are you talking about?"

"Well you see after he left you here because he loves you and thought it was best for you he saw the storm getting even worse and realized he loved you yada yada and now he's racing down here to get to you!"

"Kristoff loves me?" Anna said

"Of course he does have you seen the way he looks at you." Jack said.

"I don't know see for yourself." Olaf said picking off and icicle and making it a telescope.

Anna looked through it and saw Kristoff racing down the mountain,

"He does he does love me!" Anna said "you guys have to help me down the fjord! I have to get to Kristoff."

"Why?" Olaf asked.

"Why do you think." Anna replied.

"Oooohhhh you love Kristoff! True love's kiss come on we have to go."

"Get her to Kristoff I have to go find Elsa." Jack said. "Keep her safe."

"Yes sir." Olaf said.
