Chapter 22

Jack had been wandering through the forest for hours. Day had become night and the stars twinkled in the dim sky. He decided it was better not to fly since it would cause to much attention. If only he still had one of North's snowglobes then he could just ask for their help. But he couldn't. What was he supposed to do? Just fly into the castle saying he was Jack Frost and that Hans had lied to the king and queen? That wouldn't go over well. Maybe he could just down in the dungeon and help them escape. Still too risky, he doesn't even know which dungeon they are in or if they're all in the same place.

Jack looked up to the moon "You've helped us before. Please tell me what I'm supposed to do."

The moon said nothing except "Old friends come from unexpected places."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jack asked.

The moon said nothing.

Jack finally realized the ship! The crew was still on the ship. They could help, but the crew couldn't see Jack. But Toothless could. He didn't care about precautions anymore he flew as fast as he could back to the ship.

Meanwhile.......

Eugene sat in his cell pondering in his thoughts trying to figure out how to get all of them out. It was tricky since he didn't know exactly where they took Elsa.

He would be lying if he said he hadn't bonded with the ice queen. She was different like him. She helped him escape twice now and he returned the favor by getting her imprisoned. He knew what he had to do. He was already going to be hanged how much more trouble could he possibly get into? At least he would go down like a hero instead of a criminal.

"Guards!!!" He yelled.

"What are you doing?!" Asked Merida.

"I'm getting us out of here." He said and continued yelling.

Finally a guard came in. He looked irritated his weapon at his side.

"What is it Rider?"

"I have just noticed that my cell mate here has concealed a weapon."

Anna's eyes went wide with fear as Kristoff's was turning into anger.

"No I don't!"

"I swear when I get out of here Eugene I'm going to.." Kristoff started.

"Alright mam drop the weapon."

"I don't have any." She said.

"Eugene stop it!" Rapunzel said.

The guard grew frustrated and drew his sword with one hand and the other he unlocked the cell door.

Just as Eugene had expected. Once the guard cautiously came into the cell Eugene took a hold of the bucket in the cell and knocked the guard unconscious.

He grabbed Anna by the shoulders "I'm so sorry I made you do that without telling you what was going on but I had to do something."

"It's okay let's go find Elsa." She said.

"You stay here and unlock the others I think I know where they took her." He said handing her the guards keys.

Eugene went running down the dungeon hall that they had taken Elsa through he knew they must've taken her somewhere she couldn't have any magic. He began feeling the doors to see which one was hot. All were cold until he reached the last door. It was warm but not burning hot which gave him hope. He kicked down the door. The room was filled with a steamy mist. On the farthest wall was Elsa unconscious on the ground. He went to her and lifted her up.

Her eyes fluttered open, "Eugene?"

"You didn't think I would forget you now did you?" He joked.

She gave a small smile "Thank you."

"Don't thank me yet." He said.

He took her to where the others were.

Anna gasped and ran to them. "What's wrong with her?"

"She's weak they out her in a room full of steam." He said.

"We have to get out of here. Before the guards come back." Hiccup said.

They began running through the dark dungeon hall. They could hear the guards on the other side and see the glow of their torches. They must have been alerted .

"Now what?" asked Anna.

"Now I give Elsa to Kristoff and you guys get out of here. I'll fend them off."

"We're not leaving you here." Merida insisted.

"Sorry but you are now get out of here and find Jack. I'll catch up with you guys..."

"We're not leaving you here and that's final." Anna said.

Eugene was rather touched that they all cared for him even after what he had done. That's why he knew he had to do this. He gave Elsa off to Kristoff. Maybe it was his imagination but he thought he heard her whisper don't, Eugene ran straight to the opening of the tunnel where the guards were. With one swift motion he stole a soldiers sword from his holster. There were at least five guards. A challenge interesting. Swords began to clink and clang. Eugene was ducking every swoop. He rid one other guard of his sword. Now he had two.

"Go!" Eugene shouted. "Get Jack!"

"Eugene we can't just leave you here." Rapunzel said

"I'm fine this is my playground go ahead I'll catch up." He called.

The group finally went running. They decided they would go back to the boat. Hopefully Jack would be there.

Authors note: yay I updated. Again junior year is tough but I'm getting all A's and two B's so far which is awesome but I have exciting news my school's musical is going to be closing this weekend. So that means I have Tuesdays and the weekends off!!! So I will try to update during those times! Hoped you all liked it please comment and vote!
