chapter 13

The kids heard what their papa said and they didn't mean to make him feel that way. Brennan said, "Daddy, we messed up. What do we do? We need to help him believe that we really do love him. He's our papa."

Stiles said, "You guys should figure it out and come talk to me when you figure it out and the family too. You made him feel this way. You should fix it." The kids nodded and ran off to their room.

They got to their room and Jasmine said, "We should make him a card with something on the inside. Something to make him better and make him believe that we love him."

Aaron said, "A family trip to Disneyland or Disney world."

Brennan said, "A family trip to Europe."

Noah said, "A family trip to the Bahamas or Jamaica or Cuba or something around there."

Brennan said, "A trip to the Bahamas is perfect for the 6 of us and 8 security members. We just have to go talk to dad now."

The kids got to the living room and Jasmine said, "We want to give papa a card with 6 tickets to the Bahamas and we can leave tomorrow. We don't mind missing a week of school if it helps to make papa better."

Talia said, "You can take the backup plane."

Stiles said, "That sounds perfect guys." Stiles grabbed his computer and logged on. He went to a website and the kids pointed to the perfect hotel. Stiles put them in. Stiles said, "Brennan, grab papa's wallet please." Brennan nodded and handed it to Stiles. Stiles grabbed Derek's card and put it in. Then he put in their names and the number. He chose how many people in a room and smiled. Stiles sent it and smiled. Stiles said, "Go pack. We leave at 6am. I'll pack my bag and papa can pack his. Start making a card when you're done and then put these 6 tickets in them." Stiles handed the kids the tickets and they nodded.

The kids finished packing an hour later and put their bags in the SUV. Stiles did too. They made the card and waited for their papa to wake up. They put the 6 fake tickets in the card too. Talia said, "You 4 kids are so smart. Your papa will be so happy. Don't forget to hug him and kiss him after he reads the fake tickets." The kids nodded.

3 hours later, Derek woke up and he went to the living room after a shower. He saw everyone sitting down watching tv. Stiles said, "Hey Der! How was your nap?"

Derek said, "Good!"

The kids walked over to Derek and said, "We have something for you papa." The kids gave him the card and he read the front. He opened it and saw the fake tickets. He took them out and read them and the expiry date. Derek started crying and the kids hugged him and kissed him.

Stiles said, "They felt bad at how they made you feel and we all heard what you said. The window was open to let air in. The tickets they made expire tomorrow." Derek nodded and hugged the kids again.

Derek said, "Thanks guys! I will start packing now." Derek ran upstairs and he started packing.

He finished an hour later and sat down in the living room. Stiles said, "I already phoned the principal and the teachers."

They went to bed at 10pm.

At 6am, they got on a plane and were on their way to the Bahamas for a family trip with 8 vampire security guards. The kids fell asleep on the plane. Derek and Stiles were watching them. Derek said, "Brennan alerted Kato that he would be gone for a week."

Stiles said, "I forgot about that. Thanks for reminding him." Derek nodded.

Derek said, "How many rooms did you book?"

Stiles said, "Five. One for each of the kids and their guard. Then one for us. Our 4 guards will stay outside the room. The kids' Guards will stay in their room with them. It's easier than having like 12 guards." Derek nodded.

Derek said, "Will our room be soundproof?" Stiles nodded and smiled. Derek said, "This is what we all needed. We needed a break from the white house. This will be a good vacation for all of us. My mom won't be having any meetings with the supernatural council while we're gone, but she's had Raphael take your place of Polish ambassador for now." Stiles nodded. Stiles smiled and cuddled into Derek. Stiles started closing his eyes and he fell asleep. Derek kissed his head and smiled. Derek said, "We needed this."

They got back a week later and unpacked. They went to the living room and saw everyone. They hugged them and smiled. Stiles said, "The kids had lots of fun in the ocean and on the beach." Derek nodded. The kids started telling everyone what they did.

A few weeks later on a Saturday, it was 10am and everyone was having breakfast. Simon and Raphael were getting married. Talia said, "You guys are ready for today." They nodded.

At 11am, the women and girls were getting ready.

At 12pm, the men and boys started getting ready. Simon was getting ready with Alec and Jace. Raphael was getting ready with Magnus and Derek. They got their suits on and Magnus did Raphael's hair. Raphael's hair was in its curls and it had some blue in it. Then Magnus put some blue sparkles in Raphael's hair.

Magnus left to do Simon's hair and he put some blue in it and some blue sparkles too. Then Simon's hair was a little curly too, but not as much as Raphael's curls. Simon said, "Thanks Magnus!"

Magnus left back to Raphael and said, "You have 5 minutes until it's time."

5 minutes later, Magnus walked down with Stiles and Derek with Alec. Then Josh walked down with Jasmine and Jasmine threw flower petals. Then the doors opened and Simon walked down with Talia taking him down the aisle. They got to the end and they saw Raphael. Raphael grabbed Simon's hands and they smiled. Talia sat down. The officiant said words. Then Simon and Raphael said their vows. Then they put the rings on and everyone smiled. The officiant said, "Now the 2 will bond to each other with the mate bite." Then Raphael bit Simon's neck and let go. Simon bit Raphael's neck and then let go. The officiant said, "The 2 are now bonded and I now welcome you Simon and Raphael Santiago." Then everyone clapped and they looked at everyone. Then they kissed and they smiled. They walked down the aisle to the reception in the white house.

Josh said, "Congrats dad and papa!"

Simon said, "Thanks!" Josh ran off to go play with the other kids.

Stiles said, "Congrats dad."

Derek said, "Congrats! It's nice to know that I'll have a stepfather in law." Simon smiled.

Alec said, "Congrats Raphael! You both deserve it."

Raphael said, "Thanks Alec."

Max said, "Congrats uncle Raphael."

Everyone lived happily ever after. Some of them had kids or adopted kids. A few more couples got married and they all lived very happy with each other and their families or family and friends.
