*Kat's P.O.V*
I pack my bag into the van, and run inside my house to get my purse with all my emergency essentials for the road trip.
"Abie get your bags out, and hurry we still have to pick up the other guys,"I said going to my sisters room.
"I'm on it just need to find my glasses, I can't leave without my glasses I won't be able to see anything on our trip,"Abie said searching around her room.
I start searching with her, and notice it's under her bed I grab it and put it on top of her bag.
"Thanks let me just pack this in the car and we can go,"Abie said carrying her bags outside.
I walk into the kitchen where I see my mom packing a bunch of food for my sister, and I.
"Mom we're leaving soon are you guys coming to say goodbye,"I asked?"
"Yes I'm almost done packing you and your sisters food,"My mom said."
I'm part Filipina, my mom is full blooded so sometimes she has a little trouble speaking English since Tagalog is the only language she's been speaking her whole life, well till now anyways she's learned really well.
My mom gives me 2 sacks full of food, and told me to not forget everything. We head outside where I see my whole family playing outside.
"Are you guys gonna say goodbye,"I said to my little siblings.
They run up to me and give me hugs while saying there goodbyes. Abie runs towards us and joins us.
Well guys see you in 1 year,"Abie said hugging them one by one.
We give our parents hugs, and say our goodbyes. We had to go eventually Mason, Isabel, Jasmine, and Joshua were waiting for us to come pick them up in the van we bought especially for this 2 years ago. We get into the van, and wave goodbye to our family as we drive away from the house. This is the start of a new adventure. Here's to being 18!
*Mason's P.O.V*
I look out my window waiting for Kat and Abie to arrive, I texted them a couple of minutes ago they said they'd be here soon. I grab my phone waiting for a text or something from Kat, nothing. I'm glad I get to get out of Utah for a while things have been kinda rough here lately a year break would be nice, my girlfriend Haley said she wanted a break after my brother died, and a change of scenery would be great. I get a text from Kat saying she's at my house. I grab my stuff, say my goodbyes, and run out to the van putting my stuff in the back.
"Hey guys,"I said sitting in the back of van, guess Kat made a seating arrangement for us.
"Hey Mason are you excited,"Kat said squealing.
I laugh "Yeah I mean I guess so."
"Dude why do me and Mason have to sit in the back it's not fair,"Abie said whining.
"Because you guys are the youngest, so me and Joshua get front seats just cause we're dating,"Kat said checking her mirrors.
"Whatever,"Abie said.
"Guess what Abie on my way here I saw Jaden and Grant remember them,"I said.
"Of course she does she only had the biggest crush on Grant,"Kat said butting in.
"Shut up! I will throw this u...umm I'll throw this pillow at you,"Abie said blushing.
"Dude do you guys ever stop fighting,"I said.
Kat laughed "Its true she was like crushing hardcore on him, and speaking of crushes did you know Abie use to have a crush on you Mason."
"It only lasted one day! Okay,"Abie defended.
"Well I feel loved,"I said joking.
"Shut up Mason stop being proud of yourself,"Abie said laughing.
Kat turned on the radio, and she started scream/singing not very comforting on the ears by the way. We get to Jasmines house, and she runs out with a whole load of crap. We watch as she struggles getting out with all her stuff. Her bags collapse on the ground carrying her along with them. We start laughing at her without her even knowing.
"Boy how is she even gonna get all that crap in the car,"Kat said.
"I don't know I should probably go help her though,"I said getting ready to get out of the van.
Kat opens the window, and starts yelling for Jasmine to hurry.
"Girlll hurry up we ain't got all day,"Kat said."
She puts her bags in the car, and we go off to pick the remaining 2 up.
First off Joshua, then Isabel.
*Joshua's P.O.V.*
Kat moves over to the passenger seat, so I can drive she's doesn't like driving in unfamiliar areas.
I look at the people in the back Mason, Abie, and Jasmine. Have to make sure everyone's ready.
"Are you guy's all prepped, and crap,"I said looking at them through the mirror.
"Yeah just hurry up, and get out of here,"Jasmine said.
"Alright if you say so,"I said heading to Isabel's house.
"Mason stop squashing me,"Abie said pushing Mason away.
"I'm sorry I don't have any room whatsoever so fine have it all queen,"Mason said sarcastically.
They quite down in the back, and we get to Isabel's.
"Yayyyy we're at best friends house,"Kat said excitedly.
Kat runs out the car and helps Isabel with her bags. They load everything, and finally everyone is in the car, Isabel see's Abie and starts declaring how she wants to sit by her.
"Mason give me your seat I'm sitting by Abie,"Isabel said.
"Great leave me in the back with people that aren't gonna even talk to me I'm sitting in the front with Mason there's an extra seat, so screw it,"Jasmine said.
Mason, and her sit in the front talking about tacos for some reason. Kat looks out her window with a sad look on her face.
"What's wrong,"I asked?
"Oh nothing I'm just happy we're all here together,"Kat said.
I knew something was wrong she had that look, but I decided not to bother her about it anymore.
"So Vegas is gonna be great,"I said to Kat.
"Yeah it's gonna be a blast I've been waiting 3 years for this,"Kat said.
"I know you have, you should get some sleep I know you've been up all night,"I said.
"I'll try I just have all this excitement built up that's not letting me sleep,"Kat said.
"Yeah trust me I knew you wouldn't have slept, but at least get a few hours you won't miss anything,"I said.
"Okay good night well morning I'll be napping,"Kat said.
She put her seat down all the way, so she could see Mason and started grinning at him.
"Heyyyyy May May,"Kat said."
"You're weird, go take a nap,"Mason said laughing a little.
"Alright fine mom I will, everybody wants me to sleep,"Kat said.
She puts her chair back up a little, and starts taking her nap. Isabel and Abie were talking like crazy in the back well Isabel was talking anyways, Abie was listening.
