Mason and I look around the street for the others. We went to find Kat at the gas station, but she wasn't there. The other girls Abie and Jasmine said they were getting food, but completely disappeared from the face of the earth. We checked for the van, but it was gone, so I guess the only explanation is that they left us in Nevada with no way to get back home.
"We need to find a hotel there's all kinds of druggies walking around at this time,"I said to Mason.
"Yeah I just can't believe they left us here,"Mason said.
"Me neither, but I guess we gotta do what we can,"I said trying to keep calm.
"I'm gonna kill Them! Why would they leave us,"Mason said flipping out!
I grab him, and see a sign for motel 6 nearby just our luck. We get a room with 2 beds, and I collapse my bed, while Mason looked at himself in the mirror trying to calm himself down.
"Mason it's gonna be okay we'll continue this trip on our own somehow, I've $20,000 with me we'll just have to buy a cheap car or something,"I said.
"Ugh I thought I was gonna go on this trip drama free, but yet here we are stranded in a place just cause some girls were having a fight,"Mason said.
"I know I'm sure they have a reason, but for now there's nothing we can do we'll just have deal with what we've got, and help each other,"I said trying to calm him down.
"I guess you're right I can't do anything about it, it's just us boys now,"Mason said going to his bed laying down.
I turn on the tv, and get comfortable.
"I'm gonna go take a shower, you need to do anything before I go in there,"Mason said.
"Nah go ahead I'm just gonna head over to the McDonalds by the motel room, and get something to eat, cause I'm starving,"I said.
"Okay get me something too, just fries, and 2 cheeseburgers. Oh wait get me a sprite with that,"Mason said.
"Alright sounds like a plan,"I said.
"And my money's just over there on the table,"Mason said pointing to the table by the Tv.
"No it's okay I'll pay for you, you've only got a $1,000 you better spare it,"I said to Mason.
"You sure? Thanks man, tell me if you hear anything from the girls,"Mason said.
He shuts the bathroom door, and I leave. I head into McDonald's, and get in line. I order my food, then sit down as I wait. I look out the window, I see a van pull into the parking lot of McDonalds it looked a lot like the one we took on this road trip, but it couldn't have been there was a man driving it. I look at the license plate realizing it was ours. My number on the receipt gets called, so I go to get my food, then wait for the man to leave the van. I run outside as he leaves, and sneakily get in hoping not to be seen by him. I sit in the seat, and lock the doors. Just my luck the keys still in the ignition. The man notices me driving off with the van, and starts running after it, I open my window to start screaming at him.
"That's what you get! I'm stealing my car back baby! See you never,"I said.
I drive around just so he doesn't know I'm staying at the hotel, when I see Abie, and Jasmine walking on the sidewalk. I pull over, and tell them to get in. They sit in the car, and start asking a million questions.
"Why'd you leave us?! Where are the others? We could've died out there,"Jasmine said complaining.
"I didn't leave you guys the van was stolen, and I just stole it back! I'm with Mason, but Kat and Isabel are still missing they couldn't have gone far,"I said.
"Wait what? This was suppose to be a normal road trip! What if they're dead? What if some crackhead murdered them,"Jasmine said!
"No they're not dead trust me they're not I know it, they are just here somewhere I'll call Kat see what's going on,"I said.
"And what if she doesn't answer what will we do then,"Abie said.
"I don't know we'll discuss it at the hotel,"I said.
I drive back to the hotel parking the van somewhere hidden, then run inside to the room. Mason was sitting on the bed with his underpants on, then noticed the girls were here, he started blushing, then hid under the blanket.
"Oh great you found them,"Mason said. "Where were you guys?"
"Some dude stole the van apparently, and we thought you guys left us,"Abie said.
"I thought you guys left us,"Mason said!
"Well I guess that's what we all thought,"I said.
"Where are we sleeping,"Jasmine asked?
"Well if you want you guys can have this room, and we'll get another one,"Mason said.
"Nah we'll get a different one,"Abie said. "We will talk in a minute about what's going on, but Mason when I get back you better have pants on."
He laughed "Hah you shouldn't stare then. Alright fine good luck."
"Whatever,"Abie said walking out.
I close the door, and ask Mason if he needs me to get something from the van.
"Get me my clothes bag please, and where's my food,"Mason said.
"Oh I left it in the car forgot about the food, and alright will do,"I said.
I walk out, and go to the van grabbing my bags, and Mason's, then the food. I go back to the room and throw Mason his hamburgers.
"Here's your drink, and fries," I said giving him his stuff.
"Thanks man I'm starving,"Mason said.
"No problem,"I said.
I lay on my bed, and fall asleep.
