I stare at him amazed still can't believe we found each other, and Kaden & him are cousin millionaires.
"You've got something on your chin,"Slater said wiping it off.
"Hah thanks,"I said.
"You're welcome,"Slater said. "You look beautiful."
"Thanks and you look what's the word oh! Handsome,"I said.
He laughed a little "And thank you madam, so tell me what got you guys on this road trip?"
"Oh you know we wanted to see the United States, so we've been saving since we were young for this, and we bought the van just for this 2 years ago,"I said.
"That's amazing I've never been able to save,"Slater said. "I've been wanting to go on an adventure for so long I'm tired of seeing nothing, but this desert."
"Well you're a millionaire I don't see why couldn't have,"I said.
"I wanted friends to take with me, so it wouldn't just be Kaden and like always it'd have been boring,"Slater said.
"Yeah I mean I could see why,"I said.
I look at him smiling I'm just so happy to see him again. Kat was right I did find a hot man along the way, I'm so lucky. I put glasses back up, cause they're falling.
"You know you're adorable I just love the way your glasses keep falling off your nose,"Slater said.
"Haha thanks that's very nice of you to say, I think,"I said.
"Yea I just wanna know why it took us so long to finally admit our feelings for each other I would've been so lucky to have you, and I still would be,"Slater said.
"Aww really? I'd be lucky to have you too, but I think we need to catch up before we start being official or whatever,"I said.
"Yeah me too, I just wanted you to know that, so no other man will come along trying to steal you,"He said.
"Don't worry I've had no luck with the boyfriend thing for a long time,"I said. "Plus nobody would be able to keep me away from you."
"Well it's there lost how could they not want such a beautiful girl like you,"He said.
I blushed "You know you really are the sweetest guy I have ever met."
"Well I'm glad to be hear that,"Slater said.
He grabs the flower from the vase in the middle of the table, and puts it behind my ear, and smiles. I'm fan girling inside this can't be true.
"There now you'll always have that flower to remember me by,"Slater said.
"Wait, but it'll die,"I said.
"It'll die but it'll never disappear, so keep it somewhere,"Slater said.
"Aww okay,"I said. "Won't you get in trouble for taking that though?" I joked.
"Maybe, but at least it's worth it,"Slater said laughing.
I laugh with him "Wow you really are incredible."
"And so are you,"He said.
We finish our food and go sit with Kat, Kaden, and Josh. I could tell Kat needed help.
"Hi guys,"I said.
"Hey,"Kat said nervously.
She was giving me the I need your help look.
"Let's let the boys talk,"I said dragging Kat away.
I take her outside, and we talk.
"What's going on,"I asked her?
"Well I think I'm developing feelings for Kaden again, and I don't know," Kat said.
"Honestly I'd pick Kaden if I were you, but that's just cause I hate Josh, But go for whoever makes you feel more happy okay? I'll support you with whichever one, but since it's been so long I'd advise you to get to know Kaden again, before you go making decisions,"I said.
"You're right I'm getting ahead of myself, but no matter what happens at least I still have you,"Kat said hugging me.
"You'll have me forever, let's just have fun on our trip no boy drama,"I said.
"Okay no boy drama, I promise,"Kat said.
"Now let's go talk to Abie, and Mason have you seen the way they've been looking at each other? Something's going on with them,"I said.
"Dude I know right I thought I was the only who noticed,"Kat said.
We run inside to sit with Mason, Jasmine, and Abie.
"Heyyyyy love birds,"Kat said to Abie and Mason.
"Oh my gosh is everybody calling us that today,"Abie said.
"I literally just said the exact same thing earlier,"Jasmine said.
"Well I guess it's cause it's true have you seen the way you guys are looking at each other,"I said.
"Ehh I'm out of her league,"Mason said.
"You wish! I'd have to say I'm out of your league,"Abie said.
"Yep whatever gets you through the night,"Mason said.
"No whatever gets you through the night,"Abie defended.
"Awww they even fight like a married couple,"Kat said squealing.
"You're so right I can totally see it, Mabie, ahhhh,"I said excited.
"Shut up!"Mason and Abie said at the same time.
"Awwww,"Kat and I said.
"Well we're gonna go get Josh out of his awkwardness,"Kat said starring at the table with the other guys.
"Um yeah I think that would be a good idea, I totally forgot he didn't know those people,"I said.
"Okay good leave byeeeee,"Abie said.
We go to the table with the boys, and start talking to them Josh was interrogating Kaden.
"How do you know Kat,"Josh asked Kaden?
Kat put her hand on her face, and started flipping out she didn't want Josh to know. I could tell.
"We had a thing once,"Kaden said.
"Why didn't hadn't you told me this Kat,"Josh asked her?
"Because I didn't want you to freak out.Okay? You would've Flipped if you found out that I stayed at my whoever he use to be's house,"Kat said.
"I thought we were honest with each other, guess this relationship means nothing to you,"Josh said walking out of the diner.
"Ughhh wait would you just listen to me,"Kat said running after him.
"Well umm guess I'll just hit here,"I said awkwardly.
I see Abie stand up, and walk towards me.
"Let's go Isabel,"Abie said.
"Umm what,"I said confused.
"We're leaving,"Abie said.
"They're on the road trip with us now,"I said.
"No they can handle themselves,"Abie said.
I get Pull away from her "Stop! Don't make this about Kat's relationship! Just cause she wasn't honest with Josh doesn't mean anything, and technically he never even asked her how they knew each other, so she wasn't lying about anything, cause her and Kaden are friends! Has he ever heard of that?! Now they're going on this road trip with us cause they're friends! So deal with it."
"Fine," Abie said walking away mad.
Ughhhh why is everybody being so dramatic!
"Guys I'm sorry about them Josh is being a jealous jerk,"I said.
"No it's okay I mean I understand I guess, if I were him I'd be fighting for her too,"Kaden said.
"Ugh well then why don't you? And we should go before they leave us in the dust,"I said.
"Because she's not mine,"Kaden said.
"Soooo? She's not married,"I said.
"She's dating him I wouldn't want that to happen to me if I were dating someone,"Kaden said.
"Whatever,"I said.
"Let's go we don't need to start more drama,"Slater said.
We go to the car, and Kaden starts following the van to Vegas.
