*Isabel's P.O.V*
I put my stuff in the van as we get ready to go to our new destination, California.
"I'm excited,"Kat said.
"Me too,"I said.
"Oh no Greg's going with Jasmine in our van huh eww let's not let him touch our seat,"Kat said.
"I can't believe the moron took a bus here,"I said.
"Right! If we are piling in the car Slater and Kaden will pile with us, but Greg and Jasmine can take Kaden's car,"Kat said.
"But what if Greg wrecks Kaden's car,"I said.
"He wouldn't, wait he's weird never mind whatever,"Kat said. "He will have to pay for it."
"Let's go ask Kaden then,"I said.
We run over to Kaden.
"Hey wanna ride with us in the van, and Greg and Jasmine will drive your car,"Kat said.
"Umm sure will he keep it safe,"Kaden asked? "I know what he's capable of I practically grew up next door to him."
"I have no idea if he doesn't he'll have to pay you,"I said.
"Alright it's a piece of crap anyways,"Kaden said.
Greg and Jasmine go to Kaden's car, while Kaden and Slater sit in the van with us. Josh starts driving, and we all start screaming California.
"Yayyyyy we are finally leaving Nevada,"I said!!
"Yussss there's gonna be a beach,"Kat said.
"Look at them being all lovey,"I said looking at Mason and Abie.
"Aww they're the cutest,"Kat said.
"I'm glad we had enough seats or we would've all had to squash in here,"I said.
"Me too,"Abie said.
"Hey at least you would've been by Mason,"I said to her.
"Trueee,"She said.
"Aww,"I said. "I wish I had a Bae."
"Well technically ya kinda do,"Abie said smirking at Slater and I.
"Shut up,"I said blushing.
"Hey Izzie come sit with me,"Slater said. "Kaden can share a seat with Kat."
Kat looked at me with wide eyes "Umm what."
"Yeah if that's okay,"Kaden said to her.
"Uh it's fine,"Kat said.
"I mean she could just sit in the front with me,"Josh said.
"No it's okay I'm fine,"Kat said.
"Well okay,"Josh said sadly.
"Can I drive,"Kaden asked? "I don't really like being in the back."
"Um sure go for it,"Josh said pulling over.
They traded spots, and Kat sat awkwardly with Josh.
"Hi ii....uhh hi,"Kat said awkwardly.
"Somebody's got to sit in front with Kaden we can't just squash there's enough seats. Go,"Josh said to Kat.
"So you're gonna push me away, cause you don't wanna talk to me. Fine,"Kat said rolling her eyes, and going to the front to sit with Kaden.
"Wow if you wanted to win her over you should've let her sit with you,"I said to Josh.
"Whatever I don't wanna talk to you,"Josh said to me.
"That's funny cause I feel the same,"I said. "Slater we should crash a prom when we get to California."
"That's actually a good idea we should all go it'll be fun my cousin says they're having one tomorrow night,"Slater said.
"Then it's a date,"I said.
"Well actually I promised my cousins friend I'd go with her,"Slater said.
"What,"I said sad. "Well okay."
"Sorry Izzie I didn't know you'd even think of crashing one,"He said.
"I thought you weren't going on a road trip,"I said to him.
"Well I was gonna take a plane there,"Slater said.
"Oh um okay,"I said.
He was going with another girl! I thought we had something? I'm so confused it's just a stupid dance I need to breathe. Ughhh why hasn't he asked me out! Maybe he's in love with that girl, maybe I'm nothing more than a friend to him.
*Kaden's P.O.V*
I look at her as she did her hair, she looks incredibly beautiful.
"Hey you keep your eyes on the road,"Kat said to me laughing a little.
"Uh sorry I was just u...umm.... you look beautiful,"I managed to say.
"Well thank you, don't let us die,"Kat said.
I laughed "Don't worry I've got you."
"Well good, cause I'm not ready to die,"Kat said.
I turn on the radio for the sake of entertainment. Today's music is the best though some old songs are good imma say our generation has the best music. Bob Marley though now he's the man.
"Omg yessss now we have good music not sad country music,we should always let Kaden drive,"Isabel said.
"There's nothing wrong with country,"Josh said arguing.
"Shut up Josh it's horrible,"Isabel said.
"I mean it's okay,"Slater said.
"Ewwww not you too,"Isabel said joking to slater.
"What does she have against country music,"I asked?
"Well every time it's on she falls asleep, and she doesn't want too,"Kat said.
"Oh so there's the reason the one thing I've been wondering this wholeeee time,"Josh said.
"Whatever I can hear you, you know,"Isabel said.
"I know and I don't care,"Josh said.
I look at Kat who is shivering.
"Uh you okay,"I asked?
"Um yeah just a little cold,"She said.
"Umm..... let's see. Here take this,"I said taking off my hoodie, and handing it to her.
"Thanks,"She said.
"Do you want a blanket,"Josh called from the back.
"No I'm okay,"Kat said.
"Just an offer,"Josh said.
"Omg Josh if you're so jealous you should've just let her sit with you,"Isabel said.
"Well it's not my fault I wanted her to be safe,"Josh said.
"Well you didn't care so much when Kaden and her were sitting in the back together squashed,"Abie said.
"Exactly,"Isabel said.
"That's because ugh I'm just trying to..... never mind you guys wouldn't understand,"Josh said.
"Look you know you could still have me back,"Kat said. "But you're making me pick."
I look at her my heart dropping.
"I can't do that to you Kat, I can tell you have unresolved feelings for him, so figure them out, and then we'll be together,"Josh said.
"Ugh! Fine,"Kat said.
"Dude honestly I think she loves you not me,"I said.
Kat looks at me with some kind of pain in her eyes.
"Obviously not. I mean have you seen the amount of flirting you guys have been doing,"Josh said.
"Look it's nothing, okay? Can't she have friends,"I said.
"She has friends! Does she do that with Mason?! No! You're different,"Josh said.
"Woahhhh! Man don't put me in this,"Mason said.
"I'm not just using you as an example,"Josh said.
