Marinette woke up. Last night she was up late on the phone with Tikki asking one question after another. She looked at her phone. Well better late then never. She got up and got dressed.
She ran out of the door and ran to school. When she was outside the classroom door she heard music. She opened the door and saw Max in the front of the room starting his introduction song. Marinette went to her seat as quickly as possible. She'll deal with the consequences later. {Start music now!}
You went to school to learn girl
Things you never, never knew before
Like "I" before "E" except after "C"
And why 2 plus 2 makes 4
Now, now, now
I'm gonna teach youThe class started to back Max up. This song was catchy.
(Teach you, teach you)
All about love girl
(All about love)
Sit yourself down, take a seat
All you gotta do is repeat after meA B C
It's easy as, 1 2 3
As simple as, do re mi
A B C, 1 2 3
Baby, you and me girlThe class repeated as Max tried to dance.
A B C
It's easy as, 1 2 3
As simple as, do re mi
A B C, 1 2 3
Baby, you and me girlThe class stopped singing that way Max could sing.
Come on and love me just a little bit
Come on and love me just a little bit
I'm gonna teach you how to sing it out
Come on, come on, come on
Let me show you what it's all about
Reading, writing, arithmetic
Are the branches of the learning tree
But listen without the roots of love everyday girl
Your education ain't complete
Tea-Tea-Teacher's gonna show youThe class started backing him up again and Marinette saw Madam B laugh when Max pointed at her. The class would throw and shake their hands up in the air when they would sing.
(She's gonna show you)
How to get an "A" (na-na-na-naaaaaa)
How to spell "me", "you", add the two
Listen to me, baby
That's all you got to doOh, A B C
It's easy as, 1 2 3
As simple as, do re mi
A B C, 1 2 3
Baby, you and me girlThe class repeated the verse again while Max tried to dance again as well. No one had noticed Marinette was late. That's good.
A B C it's easy,
It's like counting up to 3
Sing a simple melody
That's how easy love can be
That's how easy love can be
Sing a simple melody
1 2 3
You and meThe class whooped and hollered as Max amazingly danced. Who knew the "nerd" of the class had dance skills?
Sit down girl,
I think I love ya'
No, get up girl
Show me what you can do
Shake it, shake it baby, come on nowThe class started to sing with Max as he kept dancing to the beat.
Shake it, shake it baby, oooh, oooh
Shake it, shake it baby, yeah
1 2 3 baby, oooh oooh
A B C baby, ah, ah
Do re mi baby, wow
That's how easy love can beThe class started clapping to the beat.
A B C it's easy
It's like counting up to 3
Sing a simple melody
That's how easy love can be
I'm gonna teach you
How to sing it out
Come-a, come-a, come-a
Let me show you what's it's all about
A B C it's easy
It's like counting up to 3
Sing a simple melody
That's how easy love can beEveryone, even Madam B, was clapping to the beat. Chloe was lightly clapping though.
I'm gonna teach you
How to sing it out
Sing it out, sing it out
Sing it, sing it
A B C it's easy
It's like counting up to 3
Sing a simple melody
That's how easy love can beThe whole class whooped and hollered once more as Max bowed, acknowledging everyone that he was done.
Marinette looked around. No teacher in her face or breathing down her back for being late. Even if it was just a few minutes.
"Well that was fantastic, Max! I never knew you could dance like that!" Madam B exclaimed, happily. Max adjusted his glasses and said, "Well technically neither did I but I never knew how much science and math was behind it. Putting moves to the beats at the correct corresponding time."
"Yes, Max. There's a lot more work put into performances than people think. You can sit down now." As Max did what he was told, Madam B looked around the classroom. "Now let's see. We had Chloe, Alya, Myléne, Juleka, Rose, and Max. Anyone want to perform today?"
Marinette shrank down in her seat. It was typical of teachers to pick on people when no one volunteered. Marinette tried to make it look like she wasn't there. It failed apparently because Madam B said, "Marinette. Are you ready to do your performance?"
Nino and Adrien looked behind them to find Marinette, but they didn't see her. Adrien got on his knees to look over her desk and saw that she was trying to hide.
Alya decided to save her best friend by saying, "She's still planing miss!" Marinette was thankful she had a friend like Alya. Madam B nodded. Kim then stood up and walked over to the front of the room. "I'll perform today," Kim said.
His words made Alix slam her face on her desk annoyed. It was Kim. Who knows what he was going to sing. Madam B said, "Okay. Take it away, Kim."
Kim turned to face the class. Everyone looked at him except for Marinette. Marinette peeped over her desk. Should she stay down for this? She then remembered that she could get points taken off for not being a good audience. She reluctantly sat up and looked at Kim. Here we go.
