Edd closes his door after Tord went in, sitting on his bed, which was next to the window, and on the other side a bookshelf, where he puts his crutches.
"Why did you leave?" Tord scratches his head. "I just, wanted to get away from the conversation. Sorry, anyways can we stop talking about it?"
"Okay, um yeah," he gives of a fake smile, and a fake laugh. "Tord are you okay?"
"W-What?! Yeah! I-I'm fine!" He says quickly putting his hands in the air shaking them back and forth. "Tord. Please don't lie? You sound like Matt. What's wrong?"
"I have a crush on-" Tord stops himself taking a big breath in, Edd lighting up. "You have a crush?! Oh my gosh! On who! Tord please tell me!"
"N-No, I said nothing, nothing at all!" Tord blushed like a mad man, putting his hands to his face. "Let me guess, is it Tom?"
"Ew! No!" He laughs. "Matt?" Edd smirks. "Nah."
"Umm is it me?" Edd smiles.
"M-Maybe? Wait! No! I mean no!" Tord gasps at his mistake, covering his face with his hands, his face almost as red as his hoodie. "Tord, I didn't know you felt that way about me," Edd blushes.
"Oh my god. Heh, I'm sorry," Tord chokes on his own embarrassment. "Aw, Tord no need to feel sorry, you're cute, you know that right? Like, I mean in attractiveness, not in, whatever what there is-"
"Wait what?"
"I like you too," Edd smiles, Tord bringing his hands down from his face. "Wait, repeat that?" He stares at Edd. "I said I like you too, ya bonehead," Edd smiles, starting to play with his thumbs. "So does that mean, um-"
"Yeah, we're together, I mean, if that's what you want?" Edd nervously laughs, scratching his head. "Pfff, jeg vil elske det," Tord smiles. "That means 'I'd love that,' now, um, heh, we gonna tell our moms, or what?"
"Not now, my mum is stressed enough as it is, I'm just going to wait."
"Okay, um, Matt and Tom?" Tord smiles. "Monday? I guess," Edd smiles as Tord stands up, picking up Tom's sunglasses from the chair. "He left them? Do you think we should?"
"We'll give it to him on Monday, sit next to me Tord," Edd pats the bed with his right hand, Tord jumping up. "Heh, thank you so much Edd," he smiles as Edd leans on him.
"Shush," Edd smiles, just listening to Tord's rapid heartbeat, from earlier. Tord just smiles, leaning his head on top of Edd's.

~On Monday~

"Tord! Tord! Hey," Edd smiles Tord stop when he hears the sound of crutches, smiling when he sees Edd. "Hey," he blushes. "H-Hey guys!" Matt runs over to them, Tom was behind Edd. "What happened after I left on Saturday?"
"Well, then Matt and Mattie left, Tord stayed, and heh, um," Edd blushed. "O-Oh my god! Tord y-you told him d-didn't you! Ha! Y-You two are a t-thing are you?" Matt jumps up and down giggling. "Calm down Matt, and um, yeah," Tord smiles. "Wait what? You two? Tord and Edd?"
"Yeah Tom, oh! Wait, you left your sunglasses at my house, here!" Edd hands Tom the sunglasses. "Thanks," Tom sighs. "We should probably get to class, alright bye," Tom heads off into the school, again with his cane heading to his first period. "He's right, bye Edd," Tord smiles heading off to his class, Edd going up to his heading in. "Hello Mrs. Wagner," Edd smiles, this was the one class he got one on one in the school, he got to pick what they did, usually to try and strengthen his leg, or use his crutches in places that aren't normally flat.
"What would you like to do today Mr. Gillions?" She smiles. "Um, I was wondering if we could t-try the bars? You know walking without my crutches? To see if I can start walking by myself?"
"No, remember? You have to have the hospital's note saying that you can do it," she smiles. "Yeah, I remember, um, I don't know."
"Well, we do have a new student, and he's new to the crutches, maybe you could help him out, you can come in now Alexander," she smiles as the door opens, a kid walking in, his crutches wobbling.
"Every one of my other classes are in pairs, or threes and both forearm crutches, so they put him in this class, " she smiles again. "Oh, well hi, I'm Edd."
"Alex," his breath is shaky. "Um, do you want some tips?" Edd tries to hold back any laughter, knowing it would be rude. "Yes please, I saw you in the halls, you make it look so easy!"
"Using crutches for nine years will do that," Edd smiles. "Nine years? I've only been using them for a couple weeks."
"Here's a big mistake, you actually have to put the rope thingies on wrists," Edd points to things you slip on your wrists. "Oh okay," Alex slips them on.
"Mrs. Wagner? Do you have the little book thing? That tells you how far apart the crutches should be?" Edd turns slightly. "No, but I will bring it tomorrow."
"Oh, okay. Well, um, Alex, which is your injured leg?" Edd sighs, not know exactly what to do. "My left leg."
"Okay, same with me, so there's two ways, the first is the one I normally use, you put out your injured leg with the crutches, and then the back leg," Edd tries to demonstrate what he was trying to explain. "O-Okay, I think I got it."
"Yeah! You do, just don't be so wobbly, hold them straight, and then this is one I'll use sometimes, you just lift your injured leg off the ground and the crutches basically are a replacement leg," Edd weakly smiles doing so. "Mrs. Wagner, can you help him? I don't know what else to say."
"Of course, Edd do you want to try the stairs, or the bands?" She gets up from her desk to help Alex more. "I'll do the stairs and then the bands."
After 45 minutes of working, the bell rings. "Bye Mrs. Wagner! See you tomorrow!" Edd almost trips over the matt as he walks out the door, Alex shakily getting to his next class.
"Art," Edd smiles, the only elective they give at the school, other than gym for the kids like Matt, but Tom, he gets to basically have a free period, or at least that's what he tells everyone else. He walks in, sitting down, placing his crutches against the wall, and grabbing his sketch book from his bag, looking at the board. "Draw your family," Edd mutters before he starts drawing, he plans to have him and Ell up front, and their mum in the back.
"Who's that? It looks like a stick figure."
"It's my sister, I'm not finished drawing her! I've only drawn the exoskeleton or whatever, I'm not done," Edd mutter not listening to the rest of the guys gibberish. "Nice job Aniline! Same to you Sam!" The teacher started to look at what the kids have started on. "Nice job as always Jase! Same to you Edd!" She was one of those art teachers that would compliment you art no matter what, but would still tell you certain things you need to fix, Jase gives a thumbs up, he was a mute kid, Edd had no idea why he was at the school though.
"Thanks Mrs. S," Edd smiles as he kept working finishing his sister as he started to draw himself, glancing at his crutches to figure out how to draw them.
Again the bell rings after 45 minute, time for math. "I'm not a fan of this," Edd mumbles walking in, on the board written in a black expo marker. "Going outside today, only take a notebook and a pencil," Edd mumbles.
"Drop your stuff Edd, come on," Tord smiles as Edd drops his stuff off his desk getting his notebook and pencil. "I'm, Tord, can you, um, hold my notebook for me?"
"Yeah," Tord smiles taking Edd's notebook as they walk outside, where a few other kids were. "Is that everyone?" The teacher asks, people looking around, Edd always felt awkward in the class since he was the only one with crutches, Tord in a wheelchair. One girl has both her legs home, but she has prosthetics, another has an arm, one kid is mute, three kids are deaf, why the class has an interpreter.
"Today, we came out here since it's close to the end of the year, yes Cait?"
"I forgot my notebook, can I grab it?" The Irish girl smiles, she's the one with the two leg prosthetics. "Yes, you may go get it," he sighs as she runs to get it.
"Now, what we will be doing is, you'll get a partner, and you'll get a piece of paper, just solve all the questions, with your partner, and before you ask, yes you can sit on the floor."
He starts passing around the papers, Edd siting down, Tord giving him the notebook as they start solving everything.
The lunch bell rings as everyone rushes into the lunch room to eat. Edd at the end, Tord at the head, because the only place his wheelchair fits, and Tom and Matt in front of Edd.
"How was class with Mrs. Wagner?" Tom cocks his head, slowly unpacking his lunch.
"There's a new kid, Alex, and he's new to the whole crutches thing," Edd smiles, "I tried to use the bars," he mutters under his breath.
"The bars? But Edd you've never-"
"I know Tord, I know," Edd mumbles taking out his lunch as well. "T-The bars? W-What?" Matt cocks his head like a cat. "They use it to get some people starting to walk again. Edd said he wanted to use it today in Mrs. Wagner's class," Tord takes a bite of his sandwich. "O-Oh."
"I didn't use it anyways, so don't get worried if that's what it's about," Edd sighs, opening the cola bottle, taking a sip from it. "So, Tom, how was your free period?"
"Oh! Um, it was great, I decided to read the book the LA teacher gave us to read," Tom smiles, before he starts eating again. "W-Well in writing w-we're having to create a story! I-I don't know what to write!"
"I can't help you with that," Edd mummers as they all finished up eating. "I'm going to go throw my trash away," Edd does as he said, trying it away.
