Tom crawls out of bed to be greeted by Mandy. "Hey girl," he scratches behind her ears. "Sh*t," he bangs his head on the wall. "This always happens!" He groans, rubbing his head, Mandy going up to lick it.
"Mum made breakfast, you have a plastic cup this time, go eat before I eat it myself," Tam groans walking into Tom's room. "I don't know why you boss me around all the time, I'm older you know? I'm fourteen, you're what? Twelve?"
"Well at least I don't run into everything!"
"I can't see Tam! Nothing! It's just nothing! Why do you think I have Mandy?" He growls.
"I don't care! Guess who skipped a grade? Guess what? I'm smarter and more mature! Just listen to me!"
"Pff haha! Yeah right!" He laughs at her. "Oh? It looks like your blind to the truth as well?! What's next?!"
"Will you just shut up!? What you said the other day, what you're showing me isn't true! I'll eat my damn breakfast in a second!" Tom hold onto Mandy's collar. "Whatever, have fun," she walks out with a growl.
"I hate being blind, maybe Tam would actually would be nicer," he shakes her fur before standing up, Mandy helping him to the kitchen, he sits in the chair, feeling around for what it is. "Bacon, and toast?" He cocks his head slightly before feeling around for the cup. "Plastic, I won't cut myself this time, great" he starts eating his food. "Crap, Mandy's bowl," he mutters, putting his cup down.
He stands up, slowly walking to to the counter, feeling around, trying to find the dog food. "Where is it?! I know Mum puts it on the counter!"
He bends over trying to find the bag of food on the floor, and after a few minutes of searching, he puts his back up to the wall. "Why can't I find the damn dog food," he runs his hand through his hair, and starts to tear up. "I don't want everyone to do things f-for me but I c-can't do them on my own."
Mandy walks over to him, putting her head in his lap. He pets her gently, hearing stomping coming down the stairs. "What do you want Tam?"
"Are you crying?"
"No, I'm not crying, why are you even down here?" he mumbles.
"I forgot to give you your medication," she groans, grabbing the meds from the cabinet, checking to make sure, before grabbing a pill. "Get your drink."
Tom stands up grabbing his drink from the table, taking the pill from Tam's hand, taking it, using the milk to help himself swallow it. "Seriously though Tom, why were you crying?"
"I couldn't find Mandy's fu*king food bowl," he mutters. "Oh, it's in the cabinet under the counter," she bends down, opening the cabinet, filling up her bowl, placing it down on the floor. "Finish up your breakfast," she mutters. "Whatever," he grumbles, walking back to the table, to finish eating.
"Thomas-"
"Mum and Dad only, you know that."
"Shut up, look. I'm sorry, I'm blaming you on something you can't control," she sighs. "Wait, you're apologizing? I should be the one, I cut my hand on glass, I um, yeah," he scratch his head. "Oh, it's fine, look, I'm sorry okay?"
"Tam, it's fine. Edd said he was going to hang out with Tord, and Matt's still in the hospital, so wanna play a game? Edd got be Braille cards."
"Sounds good."

~Meanwhile~

Tord and Edd sit at a park bench, smiling softly. "Thanks for meeting me here," Edd turns to look at Tord. "Y-Yeah, of course," Tord quickly nods.
"I'm glad Matt's back," Edd scratches his head. "Same," Tord mumbles. "Tom seems extra happy about that," Edd smiles laughing slightly. "Do y-you think Tom has a thing for Matt?"
"I tried asking him and he blew me off- Tord, you okay?"
"Edd I'm fine, so Tom just blew you off?" he reassures him, going back to the previous conversation. "Okay, yeah, he just told me to stop talking and ran off, or actually he just walked off," Edd shrugs. Tord looks at the floor, not making eye contact with Edd.
"Tord, please, what is it? Did I do something?"
"N-No Edd you did nothing!"
"Then please tell me what's wrong? I can tell, you're looking at the ground, you're mumbling and you just have a saddened look on your face, what's up?"
"My stupid grandma got me thinking about something stupid, and I'm feeling bad about it?"
"What is it?"
"Um, my grandma was telling my how I need to find a nice girl, and not a boy, because something about passing blood down, Tori can't do it, and I, I don't know Edd!" Tord puts his hands in the air letting out an annoyed grunt. "Oh, that, that um, sucks. Why does she care?"
"I don't know," Tord sighs, leaning on his left hand. "Your parents are fine with you dating me, right?"
"Yeah, they're fine with it," Tord sighs, scratching his head. "Look, Edd I'm sorry about basically ignoring you, I-I never intended on doing that, I just-"
"Shut up you big dope, it's fine," Edd pecks Tord gently on the cheek, smiling softly. "Edd, it's, it's not okay, I ignored you, ditched you, I should of never done that," Tord looks down at the floor. "It's okay, Tord, I promise," Edd smiles. "It's not though-"
"Tord, stop being so hard on yourself-"
"I can't Edd I've done this since I was ten. Everything and anything is my fault!" Tord glances away from Edd. "I-I don't know how to respond to this, do-do you wanna talk about it? Talking helps right?"
Tord shakes his head. "Tord, please?"
"Edd I don't want to talk about it, okay?" He starts to tear up. "I-I'm sorry, w-we don't have to talk about it," Edd wraps his arms around Tord, gently kissing the side of his head. "I-I, Edd what did I do to deserve you?" Tord laughs nervously, running his hand through his hair, letting Edd hug him tightly.
"Tord, everyone goes through hardships in a relationship, I guess, this is my first one," Edd mutters. Putting his hands back in his lap. "Edd, I-I can't, I can't describe how much love that stupid little face," he weakly smiles, turning his head to Edd. "I'm still taller than you, so I'm not little," Edd smiles back.
"Oh whatever, you know what I mean."
"You wanna go back to your house to talk about it? Please Tord," Edd grabs Tord'a hands into his own. "F-Fine," Tord nods. "Thank you Tord," Edd grabs his crutches from the side of the bench, slipping his hands into them, pushing himself off to stand up. Tord stands up standing right next to Edd. "Um, Edd? Can I ask you a question?"
"What is it?" Edd perks up.
"Why? Why do you care so much? Why do care so much about me?"
"Tord, I care because I love you. Why are you downing yourself?l Edd stops walking, turning himself around to look at Tord. "I-I'm sorry, let's just," Tord stops himself, crossing the street and opening the door, all with Edd behind him. They walk in and close the door, walking into Tord's room.
"Please, tell me what's going on?" Edd weakly smiles. "Um, l-let's sit down on my bed."
Edd nods, sitting down on Tord's bed, placing his crutches against the wall, Tord sitting next to him. "Edd, I-I-"
"Tord, please."
"Look, it's stupid!" Tord throws his hands in the air. "Tord, please," Edd takes Tord's left hand holding it with his. "L-Look, I don't feel like I deserve any of this, I was an asshole to you, Matt and Tom when we first met. I'm not good enough for any of this. I don't deserve their friendship, I don't deserve your love, I keep telling myself I'm worthless nothing. I'm being a wimp, I'm just a jerk," Tord covers his face with his hands, Edd just stares and says nothing, "I can't do anything right. I ran off back at the café, I straight up stopped talking to you and Tom, a-and I-"
Edd cuts him off with a hug, tightly holding unto him. "That's not true. Tord, I don't care I just, stop thinking about yourself like that," he let's Tord cry into his shoulder. "I-I'm sorry," Tord whimpers slightly, holding onto Edd. "It's okay Tord, I-I'm the one that should be sorry, I shouldn't of pressured you," he hugs Tord tightly, before quickly putting his hands of Tord's shoulders pushing him back, staring into Tord steel grey eyes, "you, you haven't been hurting yourself have you?"
Tord shakes his head "no" small tears still flowing down his face. Edd nods back taking Tord into another hug. "Edd I'm so sorry, I-I should of told you-"
"It's fine Tord, seriously."
"I-I, Edd um-"
"Tord, pakke opp, du vet hvorfor(Tord, pack up, you know why)," Tori walks into his room. "Tori, du-"
"Vi besøker bestemor for resten av sommeren, skynd deg, vi drar i morgen(We are visiting grandma for the rest of the summer, we're leaving tomorrow)," she furries her brow.
"Edd, b-bye, um, I'm going to my grandma's house for the rest of the summer.."
"Back in Norway?"
"Y-Yes, I'm sorry, it'll just be for the summer! I'll be back," Tord nods, Tori leaves the room. "A-Alright, um, I love you, you better keep texting me."
"I-I will," Tord kisses Edd on the lips, quickly, before becoming a blushing tomato. "See you when school starts."
