Emily

"He's cheating on me.", I said to Emerald.

"How do you know?"

"I followed him to her house and she looks pregnant. I'm gonna get even."

"Don't do that. You're too old for that game and two wrongs don't make a right."

"You're right. Imma just take the kids and leave him."

"Where are you gonna move?"

"I'm not sure I don't need nothing too big, just big enough for us.". She shook her head and drunk some of her water.

"You know you can't keep the kids away from him right?"

"I know. They'll see him and spend time with him, they'll just stay with me. He might try to get them in court though."

"Court?"

"We're getting a divorce. No more chances. I'm done."

Me and Emerald are looking at houses at her house now. "Look at this one.", Emerald said turning the laptop in my direction. I locked my phone then grabbed the laptop.

"It looks prefect.". I called the number to see when I could look at the house. They told me now if I wanted to. I told them that I was on my way. I hung up the phone. "Come on, let's go look at it.".

"It's perfect, I'll take it."

Terrence

Imma tell Emily before she have the baby. I know if I wait until she have the baby I lost her. She's still mad at me from the last week. She even kicked me out the room. I'm in the guest room. I buy her shoes and clothes and purses and jewelry but it don't work. She haven't opened or wore anything that I know of. I went to the room and sat on the foot of the bed. She's on her phone. "What?", she asked looking up.

"I need to talk to you."

"What?"

"I fucked up."

"I know.". What the fuck? "You're cheating on me and she's pregnant. That's why I'm leaving you.".

"What?"

"I'm leaving you Terrence.". I laughed. "I'm serious.". My smile slowly dropped.

"What happened to forever more?"

"What happened to standing with me in sickness and in health?". I couldn't say anything. We just looked at each other. "You couldn't do that so I can't do forever more.".

"Baby we can fix this."

"I don't wanna fix this Terrence. You fucked up now you have to deal with the consequences. If you weren't ready to settle down you shouldn't have popped the big question."

"Baby don't leave me. I'm sorry. It was a mistake."

"It was a choice.". I grabbed her hand and she snatched it away. Olivia walked in.

"Mommy can I get some ice cream?"

"Mhm.". She got up and left the room with Olivia right behind her. Man I lost her all because I can't keep my stuff in my pants.
