Terrence

I went to Emily's room and knocked on the door. The door opened. "You know what you should do?", I asked.

"What?"

"Let me take you out."

"Boy please.". She closed the door in my face and I opened it.

"That's some disrespectful ass shit.", I said looking at her. She just looked at me.

"Take your girlfriend out.", she said after a minute.

"I don't got a girlfriend."

"Yes you do, the girl that I saw you with."

"I'm not with Denise Emily. We just talk and chill.". She just looked at me. "You gone let me take you out?".

"Why do you wanna take me out Terrence?"

"I just wanna take you out.", I said lying. I wanna get my wife back. "You like food, I like food. Let's go get some food.".

"It's food here."

"Can I cook for you then?"

"I can make my own food."

"Why you so damn difficult?"

"Cause I wanna be."

"Why?"

"Cause I wanna be. Bye Terrence.". She said closing the door. I heard it lock.

"I'm not goin' away until you say yes.". She didn't say anything. I started making a beat on her door and freestyling about her. She's going to give in eventually.

It's been about 2 hours and she didn't give in. I ran out of stuff to freestyle about so I starred singing. That didn't work. Now I'm talking about all the good times we had starting from when we were kids. I heard her laugh a few times. "You remember that?", I asked hoping that she'll reply.

"Yeah, that was fun.". I smiled. "I guess I can let you take me out.". I did a little dance. "What time should I be ready?".

"9:30."

"Okay."

"I love you.". She didn't say anything. "Emily?".

"What?"

"I said I love you."

"I heard you."

"You not gone say it back?"

"No."

"You said it back the other night when you was laying on my chest.". She didn't say anything.

"I was tired.". I smacked my lips. "Can you get me some apple juice?", she asked opening the door.

"Get it yo' self."

"Fine.", she said leaving the room. We walked away together. While I was walking she grabbed my butt.

"Yo' chill that shit out!", I said moving her hand. She started laughing then grabbed it again. I grabbed hers with both hands and put her against the wall. She bit her bottom lip.

"I'm hungry.", we heard Olivia say. I quickly moved my hands and she softly pushed me.

"Better luck next time.", she said patting my chest as she walked past me. "Come on.", she said to Olivia. "Let's get you something to eat.".

"Thank you.", me and Terrence said as the waitress sat our foor down.

"No problem, let me know if you need anything else.". She walked away.
