Terrence

It's been 5 years and I'm gonna ask her to marry me, for the third time. I don't think she'll say yes but it doesn't hurt to try. I'm picking the ring up now. "Thank you, have a nice day.", the dude that just gave me the ring said.

"You too."

"How do you feel about me asking Emily to marry me?", I asked Issac.

"Again?"

"Yes."

"I will pay you not to propose to my sister. Just name your price and I'll write you a check."

"50 stacks.". He shook his head.

"Okay, I'll be right back.", he said about to leave the room.

"I'm just playin'."

"What, you want more?"

"No, I'm gonna propose to Emily, I just wanted to know how you felt about it."

"I don't think you should, I don't even think y'all should be together."

"Why not?"

"Nigga you can't be nobody husband, you can't be nobody nigga. I wouldn't be surprised if you got a side bitch right now."

"I don't have a side bitch Issac, I don't need one."

"You never did now did you?". I just looked at him. "Nope. What you do, bring René from the dead? Or is it Denise? Somebody else at the job? That bad ass next door neighbor? Who?"

"Nobody!"

"Did I hit a nerve?", he asked grinning. I'm not about to do this with him.

"Bye Issac.". I got up and left.

"Tell yo' side bitch I said 'hi'."

Emily

 "Baby how long we been together?", Terrence asked as he put his fork down. It's been 5 years. Jayden and Nathan moved out and me and Olivia moved back into the house.

"5 years."

"You know I love you right?"

"Mhm, I love you too babe."

"You know, tomorrow ain't promised and we're not gettin' any younger."

"I know. Why are you saying all this? Did you do sonething?"

"No, but I'm about to.", he said standing up. I looked at him as he walked to me. He got on one knee and my eyes got big. Everybody started looking.

"Terrence, what are you doing?", I asked lowly. "Get up.".

"Will you marry me?"

"Aww.", people said.

"Terrence-"

"I know this is the third time but trust me, I'm more than ready. No backin' out, no cheatin'. Just me and you.". I looked around then back at him and forced a smile on my face.

"I would love to.". He smiled and put the ring on my finger then we kissed and hugged. I hope this isn't a mistake.
