"Camila, baja y lava estos platos~!" I coughed up smoke at my mother's sudden voice.

"The fuck Camila, thought you said she'd be gone today?" James glared at me.

"Must be lunch-- Mamá que viene!" I hollered.

"Well when will that cow be gone?" Sarah snapped.

"Aye, you can leave right now." I stood up.

"Fine. You owe me." She picked up her plastic bags and grabbed her two mini bongs, leaving the house through my bedroom window.

"Camila.. Just so you know, if you ever wanna get together.. Call me, okay?" He smirked, inhaling his blunt and slowly exhaling the thick smoke.

"I don't date potheads." I sighed.

"What? You smoke blunts all the time with us!" He scoffed.

"I need a man." I squinted my eyes at him, disgusted.

"Not a puta." I waved him off.

"Aye! I know what that means in mexican. Ungrateful bitch!"

"Hah, okay James. You can leave now too." He flipped me off and grabbed his things, following Sarah out the window.

"Camila, voy a vencer a tu culo flaco!" My mom marched up the stairs and attempted to open my locked door.

"English Mamá. You need to get used to it, I have friends who speak English." I sighed and tossed my blunt into my tin trash can, throwing plastic bag over it.

I walked towards the door and opened it.

"Why did you not wash the dishes when I asked? And we shouldn't be focusing on English-- It's Korean we should be learning. You're a fast learner, you'll get it quickly." She said, leaning her head to look in my room.

"Yeah, I know.. I finished the first audiobook." I said, leaning over to block her view into my room.

".. Okay. Just get the second and third audiobook then you should be done. First is introductions and goodbye's, right?" She asked.

"Right."

"Small talk?"

"Yep."

"Good. That should be used for classmates, teachers, and store cashiers. Maybe asking for directions too.." She let out a stressful sigh and rubbed her temple.

"Mamá, I got this. I already finished packing my clothes." I smiled.

"Ah.. tan hermosa." She smiled and pulled my brown locks behind my ear.

"You smell weird." She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Have to shower!" I waved her later and shut the door.

"How are you? I'm good fine-- Thank you." I corrected myself and paced around the carpet of my bedroom.

"Have a great day! I will, you too! Bye. Goodbye. See you later. Hello-- Bye." I repeated.
