"Eomma where are we going?" Sunmi and Danny asked, sitting next to each other in their separate car seats.
"Eomma's parents' house, remember?" I smiled, looking back at them through the mirror.
"Oh.." They giggled.
"It's so pretty." Jungkook exclaimed, gazing out the passenger seat's window.
Men walked shirtless on the street with bronzed glossy skin or pale white bony douche looking bodies.
The women.... Okay, most of them were hoes on this street. Half of them were hookers and the other half were just women looking for fun and excitement. Sexual way and not the sexual way.
"Here we are~" I sang, turning onto a different street.
It was green with palm trees going down the sidewalks neatly. My house was seen somewhat down the road. I was actually nervous.
"We're here~!" The twins cheered with me as I pulled into the small driveway in front of the very colorful house. It looked dull at the same time if that's possible.
"It's cute!" They widened their smiles, kicking their feet in excitement.
"They're not too bright of people. Please tolerate them and respect them. Even if they're ignorant assholes, my parents have short tempers." I warned, kissing Jungkook's cheek and grabbing my purse before turning off the car then leaving the car next.
"Eomma's got you." I cooed, unbuckling Sunmi and taking her into my arms. I slammed the car door shut with her resting on my hip as Jungkook did the same with Danny, except he was hug-holding Danny.
"Look at mama bear~" Jungkook whispered into Danny's ear, baring his bunny smile and sweet faint dimples.
Danny giggled, holding his fingers to his cheeks as he and Jungkook watched me struggle holding Sunmi.
"Aegyo, she's so pretty!" He exclaimed quietly, but loud enough so I could hear.
Danny chortled as I rang the doorbell.
"PESO PEREZOSO, ¡VAYA A LA PUERTA!" I rolled my eyes at my mother's annoying scratchy voice from inside the house.
"Estoy demasiado gordo para levantarme, hazlo tú mismo." The sound of my father's voice came from the living room window. Same old, same old bastards.
"MUTLA.." She snapped and soon she was stomping to the front door, only to swing it open.
Her face was frozen as if she didn't know what to say or how to react.
"Hey ma'." I frowned, biting into the inner corners of my lips.
"H-Hi.. Come in...." She mumbled, moving aside so the four of us could step in.
The house was as dusty yet clean as it was when I left. Boring, too. I feel trapped whenever I walk around in this house.
"Would you like some coffee?"
"I'd rather some tea." I forced a smile, it looked too fake even though I didn't care.
She nodded and went for the kitchen, preparing tea and snacks.
"Camila?" My dad hobbled into the kitchen, holding a firm smile on his face underneath his rough mustache.
"Hi, dad..........." I kept the smile, trying to act happier to see him.
He wasn't as gold as my mother maybe.
"Are these my grandchildren?" He widely smiled, walking over to them and crouching down beside their seat, admiring their looks.
"Uh-huh." I blandly answered, checking my nails for dirt.
"You two really resemble them." He smiled at the twins, waving in a babying way.
The twins shyly stared at him with big eyes and pursed lips, staying close to each other in the one chair while Jungkook just chuckled.
"So, what's your name again?" My dad asked, standing up to talk to Jungkook.
Jungkook just gave a nervous and flustered look.
"I--- My english really bad." He chuckled, bowing his head at him.
"I can translate, if you want Kookie-ah?" I asked, looking over at Jungkook as he gave me a quick nod.
"Ahh... Me, Camila.. Consume Dannyeol-ah, Sunmi-ah." Jungkook said, "I love all very much."
"YAH! I SAID I'D TRANSLATE FOR YOU! Now they're gonna think we're horndogs." I scowled at him.
"Sorry." He giggled.
"I can see that....." My dad looked over at the twins slowly, blinking twice at the flashing image in his head then cringing.
"No--- No, he's just saying he loves all three of us a lot. And happy we all ended up together, papá."
"Oh, okay." He cleared his throat and took a seat at the table, folding his hands together and smiling again.
"Tea and biscuits." My mother said, bringing a plate of jelly filled biscuits and two cups of tea.
"Thank you~" Jungkook smiled, taking the mug of tea into his large hands.
"Thanks." I said, taking the tea and holding it into my small hands and narrow fingers.
"Thank you, Imo.." The twins said quietly, grabbing a biscuit to nibble on.
"Yah, don't say Imo. She's your halmeoni." I frowned at them with a small 'smile' hinting the you-know-that look.
"Sorry, sorry." They giggled quietly with crumbs on the corner of their lips.
"Camila honey, your Korean has gotten better." My mother said, attempting to compliment me.
"Ah, Sí mamá, eso es porque me hiciste aprender durante 4 meses antes de enviarme a Corea. Tenía que aprender y mejorar para hablar con fluidez." I gave her a sarcastic smile before sipping my tea, feeling my adrenaline race.
"No empieces Ahora no es el momento." She gave me a warning look before taking a drink of her black coffee.
"Comience qué? O .. ¿Vas a enviarme a Corea otra vez?" I glared at her.
"Sospecharán que estamos discutiendo si no cierras tu boca mocosa."
"Venga. Sabes que fue una pena que hicieras eso ... por tus propios deseos egoístas."
Her nose flared in obvious anger. I felt only a hint of intimidation but I knew she wouldn't do anything in front of my kids.
"Levántate."
"No." I clenched my jaw, standing up would tell anyone we were about to have a very loud and long argument.
"Si tienes el coraje de hablarme con tanta falta de respeto, vete ahora."
I stared at her with an innocent smile on my face, taking a calm sip of my tea while eyeing her to the bone.
Her eyes widened in fury. She then began rolling her sleeves up before standing up, making her chair screech against the tiled kitchen floor.
"SIÉNTATE." My dad's voice beamed as he made her flinch with his snapping voice.
"Oookay... Time to go.." Jungkook stood up quickly, bowing to both of my parents before grabbing the twins into his arms.
"What's happening?" Sunmi asked nervously, sucking onto her middle finger.
"Camila, my flower, it was a blessing to see you again after all these years. I love you, I'm sorry for not convincing your mother to let you stay then, but you must go now. She's a little..." He glanced back at her with a scowl, "Pissy."
"Okay papá." I kissed his cheek then stood up, following Jungkook to the door.
"It was nice meeting you!" He waved at Jungkook and the twins.
Jungkook nodded with a smile before leaving the house with the 3 of us.
