Oh, That's Who He Was

I planned on just catching up with my team, but I stopped when I heard Jirocho making a bet. I stopped in the middle of all the men, and looked up at Jirocho. "Okay, I kinda want to know the bet you just made cause it probably involves my friends and me."

"Who are you child?" Mini-moustache asked me, annoyed.

"I'm a ghost, who haunts people when their blood sugar is too low." I answered back, completely serious.

"You are right, Ida. This does concern you, but I'm sure you can handle it." Jirocho chuckled.

"What is it?" I asked.

"A few of these men believe Idate chickened out, and won't win the race for us. So I told them that Idate will win no matter what." Jirocho smiled.

"Yep! He will most definitely win. I will make sure of it." I gave him a thumbs up.

"You're a ninja?" Mini-moustache burst out laughing.

"I am. You got a problem with that Mini-moustache?" I challenged.

"Mini what?!" he raged.

"Okay Ida. Don't you think you should catch up with the team now?" Jirocho pushed me forward, trying to not laugh, but also trying to keep semi-peace.

"Yeah, I probably should." I called, running in the direction of Idate. I leapt high up in the trees and used my fast speed. I easily passed my team, and soon I was right on top of Idate, so I jumped down in front of him.

"AHHHH!!" he shouted.

"Idate it's me, calm down!" I shouted over him.

"But how did...when you...ugh." Idate said?

"That made no sense, and that's coming from me." I stated.

"How did you catch up to me?" Idate finally formed a sentence.

"I ran." I informed.

"You don't really give elaborate details, do you?"

"Nope," I smiled, "So I hope you know a guy with a boat." I commented.

"I do." he confirmed.

"Good."

"Finally, we caught up to you!" Naruto shouted, appearing from behind trees.

"Oh hey guys!" I waved, as Sasuke and Sakura came out of the trees, too.

"Ida how did you get here?" Sasuke asked me.

"So I was just randomly walking, and all of a sudden this elevator appears before me, so I'm like hmmm should I go on. And me being me I did. Then this guy appeared and he was like to you want some candy. So of course I'm like bring it on, give me all the candy you have. But then-"

"Ida, why are you tellling me this story?" Sasuke asked, convering my mouth with his hand.

"Idate was making fun of my short non-elaborate answers, and I needed to make it the most elaborate I could." I answered.

"Of course you did." Sasuke sighed.

"Hey Idate, wait up! Why'd you even come this way?" Naruto asked, dragging mine and Sasuke's attention back to the matter at hand.

"Urgh, just shut up! It's none of your business anyway." Idate growled.

"What's with the attitude?" Naruto shot back.

"He doesn't like us Naruto. Cause attitude deals with who you are around." I clarified.

"I said shut up." Idate growled.
