Ida’s POV
___________
“Naruto!” I shouted, pounding on his door. “Naruto! Naruto!, Naruto!” I continued to shout, and to pound until an annoyed blonde finally opened the wooden object up. I wasn’t prepared for it, so I went back to knock again.
“Ahh!” Naruto shouted as my fist got closer and closer to his face. Immediately I turned my velocity towards the ground, but the quick change made me lose balance and I stumbled forward into Naruto. My force hit him, and together we fell back into his house, me landing on top of me.
Both breathless from laughing, I pushed myself off him and onto my feet. With my out stretched hand, Naruto grabbed it and I helped him up.
“You two are a mess.” Kiba commented, pushing his way into Naruto’s house.
“We’re just a good team.” I huffed, defending myself and Naruto.
“Sure you are.” Kiba gave us a toothy grin. “Just how good of a team?”
“The best team in the whole troposphere!” I shouted, directing to the space around me.
“Don’t we have somewhere to be?” Shino intervened.
“Right.” I agreed, I turned serious and faced Naruto, “I got us a mission!” I cheered.
“To find Sasuke?” Naruto looked hopeful. His whole face lit up like a puppy with a bone. I nodded my head with a cheeky grin on my face. “You-you are amazing!” Naruto bubbled, and grabbed me in a hug.
Naruto picked me up, so my feet dangled in the air. “I can’t believe you convinced Grandma Hokage to give us a mission to find Sasuke. You are the best.” Naruto gushed. A part from squeezing the life out of me, he also set his mind to nuzzling my head; therefore messing up my beautiful hair.
“I-I can’t breathe.” I gasped, clawing at his arm.
“Sorry.” Naruto muttered. His arms released me, and I was set back on me feet, free to move around and breathe as I liked. “What’s the mission?” He asked once my face went back to normal.
“We’re going out to search for a bug.” I cheered.
“A bug is going to help us find Sasuke?” Naruto looked doubtful.
“It’s a beetle called the bikochu.” Shino bothered to explain.
“I’ve never heard of it.” Naruto admitted.
“Of course you haven’t.” Kiba mocked, crossing his arms in a smug look.
Before Naruto could say anything back, I grabbed his arm and plowed through our new team, “We have our resources now we depart!” I battled cried, and took off with Naruto at my side into the crowded streets of the village.
“Ida!” Naruto groaned, as his feet struggled to gain ground. I didn’t respond or stop until we reached the village gates. There I let go of Naruto’s arm and let him huff as we waited for Kiba, Shino, and Hinata.
“Now we wait.” I announced, and sat down in the middle of the road, arms crossed and all.
Hinata’s POV
__________
“She realizes we still have to pack right?” Kiba sighed.
“I’ll go tell her.” I volunteered, and walked out of Naruto’s house. Kiba and Shino followed me out. Shino calmly shut the door, and headed away from us without another word.
“See you in a few, Hinata.” Kiba waved goodbye, and also headed away. I stood on the step of Naruto’s apartment for a few lingering seconds.
