I sit trying to string words together
Attempting to disguise a message to you
Rolling the words in my head hoping
Praying that chance will play in my favor
That your ignorant eyes will read
The passion in my lines
Read that I can not say a word
In fear I might run at the sound
Run like these confessions
Spit a bullet out with every syllable
With a distorted version of me
Pulling the trigger
Words of black and white
Will always be easier then the invisible letters
That seem to hide behind my tongue
Pointless
Since you wouldn't be able to see them anyway
Wouldn't be able to understand
The agony behind them
Wouldn't be able to see how broken they are
If instead of leaving drops
Of love as needles, In a haystack of life
I instead rammed them into you
Shoved them into your heart
A Great over boiling of the secrets I kept
You'd think they were gifts
That you're special
That I finally choose you.
Blind to why I would stick them there
Why I would place that in your heart
Was only to see
how you bled to death
So read carefully when I say
That you mean the world to me
That the only thing that can make me stay
Is you
It always been you
That this is no charade
No timer in this game I play with you
Besides the clicking of my own heart
That on some dark lonely nights
I wish would enter the silence I left you in
Hear me when I say
I love you because you've keep me alive
I hate you because I don't want to be
That everything I say is about to turn into lies
That I never wanted this
That you're everything
Everything I wish would rot
Everything I hope will shatter into sand
Everything I hate in myself
So here's the secret message to you
I love you
I have always loved you
But there's is something eating me alive
Throwing darkness in everything I hold near
It was there when my heart shot my gun
It is here now lying from the start
I love you,
But maybe
It's just that monster
begging to be let outside
So I hate you
To protect you
From the thing that makes
Me hate a heart
That fell in love
Love that is probably
Just hate
With a secret message
In its wake
