Link looked around his house one final time. He quickly walked towards the door. He walks outside, climbs down the ladder, and gazes at the trees surrounding his house one final time. He closed his eyes, and takes in the surrounding sounds. It is still a peaceful day, and the sounds of the morning are still present. The birds are singing, the leaves are rustling, and the villagers are just beginning to start their day.

This is it. Leaving home again... after I had just returned... It's for the best. You have to see her. You have to see Midna one last time.

Link closed his eyes for a moment. Goodbye Ordan, hopefully I'll return one day. He opened his eyes and took a deep breath. He then began to walk towards Epona. He stroked her mane softly. You ready for another journey girl? Epona gave off a loud whinny. Of coarse you are, you always are. Link sighed. I wish I could talk to you again. Like I could when I was in beast form. Link stopped for a moment. Wow, I haven't been in beast form since... the final battle.... I guess I haven't missed it until now...

Link looked up and gave Epona a pat. He then mounted his horse and pulled the reins so they were facing the woods. With a loud "Hyah!" Epona took off at full speed into the forest. As they passed by the spirit spring, Link saw a glimpse of Ilia waving goodbye. He held up a hand and waved, even though he was too far for her to see it. Little did he know, that was the last time he would ever see Ilia.

Link and Epona traveled at full speed all the way through the forest. Once they reached Hyrule Field, Link slowed down a bit, not wanting to wear Epona out before they even got started. He gazed around The field. It felt so peaceful here. He almost felt.... happy. He hasn't felt happy since.....

Why am I feeling this way? I didn't exactly have the best memories here.... I guess it does feel nice to have a bit of freedom. Maybe I'm happy because I might actually have a chance of seeing Midna again....

Link pushed that thought out of his head. There is no guarantee that you will find anything, or that Zelda will agree to help you... why wouldn't she? I mean, she went through the same pain that you did, wouldn't she be happy I found a way to end mine? Wouldn't she want to help?

As Link rode, he noticed why the field suddenly felt so peaceful. All the monsters and carnivorous birds were gone. Wow, this place is beautiful when it's not full of things that want to kill you. He closed his eyes and felt to cool breeze on his face. This feels so.... amazing. Unlike my first journey when I couldn't enjoy little things like these because I was fighting off monsters left and right.

As Link crossed the bridge of Hylia, he looked down at the water below. He remembered the first time he was ever at Lake Hylia. The land was covered in twilight, and Zant had completely frozen all of the Zoras, then executed their queen. Whenever a memory flashes through my head of a place I had previously visited on my journey, it's never a happy memory. I guess that's because it wasn't a happy journey...

After Link rode for a little while longer, he arrived at the entrance to castle town. He stopped Epona, and dismounted. The sun was still high in the sky, and it looked like it was early evening. He stroked Epona's mane again. "Stay here girl, I'll bring you back something to eat from the market once I'm done." He said softly. Epona lowered her head and began to nibble in the grass below her.

Link looked towards castle town. He began to walk across the bridge, with many memories filling his head, about the last time he came here. Last time I crossed this bridge, I was heading for the castle, to put an end to the evil that had plagued the land of Hyrule. It's not the happiest memory... Not that any of the others are either...
