Tyler's POV

I go to the store with Josh's mom. It's actually a lot less awkward than I thought it would be. I pick out a couple of outfits and try them on, but nothing seems to look good. Finally, I pick out an over-sized gray sweater and a pair of black skinny jeans.

I go into the dressing rooms and change into the new clothes. I look in the mirror.

"Ehh . . It doesn't look too bad. I wonder what Josh would think of it."

I open the door and go back out into the store.

"What about this one, Laura?"

She turns around to look at me.

"Hmm . . simple, but cute. I love it!"
"Okay, I'll get this then."

I change back into my old clothes. We walk up to the counter and Laura pays for my clothes.

"Thank you, again," I say to her as we walk out of the store.
"No problem, hun. You're easy to shop with," she says, starting to laugh.

We go back home and walk inside.

"Josh, we're home!" Laura exclaims, looking for Josh.

He comes walking through the hallway to join us in the living room.

"Hey, Ty. Have fun?" he asks me.
"Yeah, it was pretty fun."
"You getting hungry?"
"I'm starving!"
"Good, I have a surprise for you!"
"Umm . . okay? Can I change into my new clothes really quick?"
"Oh, yeah. Sorry."
"It's okay." I say, smiling.

I go into the bathroom and change, and then walk back into the living room. Josh is sitting on the couch.

"What do you think?" I ask him.

He turns to me. As soon as he sees me, he stands up and walks towards me.

"You look . . adorable."

I blush and cover my face with my baggy sleeves. He guides my arms away from my face, exposing how red I am. He places a light peck on my forehead.

"You ready to go, Ty?"
"Yes."

We walk outside. On our way to the car, Josh stops and turns to me. He says:

"Oh, wait. I almost forgot something."
"What's that?"

He pulls a blue bandanna out of his back pocket.

"You can't see where we're going. It's a surprise!"

I sigh and laugh. He ties the bandanna around my head.

"Okay, now to get you to the car," he says, giggling.
"Oh jeez."
"Do you trust me?"
"Of course I do, baby."

"Good, because I'd never let anything happen to you."

He walks behind me and puts his hands on my waist.

"Now, walk straight until I say stop."

He gets me in the car and buckles me up, then gets in the car and starts driving.

~A Few Minutes Later~

"Jishwaaa?"
"Yes, Ty?"
"Are we there yet?"
"Almost."

Finally, we get to the "secret spot". He gets out of the car and walks around to get me. He holds my hand and starts leading me straight.

"This part is uphill, so be careful."

"Where even are we??"
"You'll see."
