Two Months Later

Aphmau's pov

It's been two months since the almost kiss with Garroth and let's just say there's A LOT of sexual tension between us. It's also been months since my last feint, which is awesome but also worrying. It's lunch time and the gang and I sit at our normal booth in MyStreet Café. "We're supposed to face off again Shad the destroyer but the question is, which one of us is he?" Travis states looking around the booth. It's quite a big booth considering there's 10 of us here. That's right 10 people and we're talking about the Divine war.

Let me rewind a bit, you see after the demon warlock payed a visit to Kaitlyn we decided to up our defenses. Now the ones in our group are Kaitlyn, Travis, Garroth, Zane, Vlyad, Aaron, Lucinda, Sky, a new girl named Kim and Myself. My eyes glanced over everyone. I love them all to death but one of them we'll have to fight. I sighed, "For all of those who were not originally apart of this you must be careful. You may become targeted by the Demon Warlock and Shad the Destroyer. Even Kaitlyn had to give up something precious to her for the sake of this mission."

I looked at her red, raw eyes and felt a pang in my chest. She had an abortion so the baby wouldn't be targeted and the guilt has been eating all of us alive. "Imps have been attacking us left and right and we've been half-assed fighting for two months." I say clenching and unclenching my fists.

"The werewolves grow restless. Blaze is itching for a fight and so are the others. It's good to have them on our side but it's a danger to everyone." Aaron stated. I tried to look into his eyes but he avoided my gaze.

Something's​ off with him.

My stomach erupted in butterflies as I kept looking at him. Sky, Garroth and Zane cleared they're throats and glared at him. I sighed again and folded my hands across one another. "Yes, it is a worry. But I feel that was a right move. The Divine reincarnates can produce weapons with their energy but the rest are virtually unarmed. This is going to be trouble to find​a solution to this matter."

"There's ten of us right? Maybe we can work something out..." Vlyad said hopefully. Travis started drawing on a napkin, mumbling to himself. We all stared at him silently. "The Divines will act as generals and project their powers onto the groups they have. The others that are here but not Divine Warriors will act as lieutenants and manage the companies they have. Aphmau you are the Elite General in all this. You divide the companies and choose the lieutenants for each general. Including yourself."

He takes a deep breath and lays his head in the table. Kaitlyn absentmindedly played with his hair. "That's a good plan." She whispered.

Sorry about the short chapter it's more of a filler. Also I've been under a lot of stress lately and I'm sorry for missing updates.
