Katelyn's pov

I get off of Travis and look at Aaron. "What are you doing here? Did Aphmau call you?" He puts his hands in his pockets. "No, Aphmau didn't call me here. I just...it felt like something was wrong here, so I came to check it out." He chuckles. "I didn't even know Aph was here, so thanks for that news." Travis gets up and stands next to me. Maybe a little too close for Aaron's comfort. "Aren't you dating Jeffery?" I feel my face fall but Travis puts his arm around my shoulders, cheering me up a little. "Jeffery...he died." I feel my heart shatter when I admit the truth. Travis starts to speak. "Aphmau used her power to give Jeffery the burial of a Divine Warrior. He is at rest."

My eyes widen and I look down. "I think I'll go back to the room now." I start walking and then feel a pain in my back. "Katelyn!" Thats all I hear before I see darkness.

Vlyad's pov

I wake up on Zane's shoulder. 'Where am I?' I look around. 'That's right I'm in Garroth's dorm room.' The door swung open and Travis was carrying a knocked out Katelyn. "Guys! Wake up!" He yells frantically. I can tell it's something important so I bolt up and turn on the light. Everyone groans and rubs their eyes. I get a better look at Katelyn and see she's covered in blood. "What happened?" I ask looking her over. Everyone is awake and worried. "Katelyn woke up and went to get some fresh air. I had the feeling something bad was gonna happen so I followed her. We ran into Aaron and when I told them about Jeffery's burial Kate walked off. When she was walking someone shot an arrow at her and she passed out from pain."

Travis looks like he's going to break down in tears. Aphmau puts a hand on Travis's shoulder. "Don't worry. Katelyn's going to be fine." She looks at all of us. "I need you all to leave for a few minutes. I need all of my focus on Katelyn." We do as we're told and go out into the hallway. "Garroth?" I see a red headed boy come up to Garroth. "Why was the door locked and who are these guys?" The boy whisper yells. "Sorry, Max. A friend recently died and I needed some time alone. These guys" Garroth says motioning towards us. "are my brothers and an old friend from high school." The boy, who's name I assuming is Max, looks at all of us strangely. "So why are you all out in the hallway?"

I answer before Garroth does, "Another friend hurt herself because the friend that died was her boyfriend and Aphmau is trying to make sure it doesn't happen again." I look at everyone to make sure they know what I'm doing. Max avoids his gaze. "Oh, alright." He turns to Garroth and says. "Next time, just tell me whats up and I'll find another place to stay for awhile." Max walks to the door across the hall and knocks. A red head girl opens the door. "Hey, Shelby. Sorry to wake you up but something happened and I need a place to sleep for tonight. Can I stay here?"

The girl smiles as Max rubs his neck awkwardly. "Sure. I don't mind. Aphmau isn't here right now and honestly I'm worried." She says in a squeaky voice. "You don't have to worry." I say. "Aph is just busy right now, thats all." She looks at me confused. "Okay! Thank you for telling me." She smiles brightly. "You must be tired. After all, it is past midnight." I say stretching. She blushes a bright red. I'm confused until I realize I don't have a shirt on. "S-Sorry, I recently woke up myself." I feel myself blushing. "I-It's alright. G-Good night, shirtless boy." She said before inviting Max in and closing the door.

I blushed at her farewell."What?" I ask, turning around. "Someone has a crush." Zane teased. "I was just being nice. I don't even know her." I denied bluntly. "If you should be teasing anyone it should be Travis." He looks offended. "Why me?" I smile and say, "Katelyn. It's obvious you like her and you called her 'Kate' awhile ago." He was blushing more than I was. "I-I...fine. I admit I've loved Katelyn Firefist since I first met her." I hear a sharp breath from Garroth's room. Katelyn was standing there, tears streaming down her face. "Kate-" Travis starts to say but she starts running. 'Love is really hard to accept.' I looked at the door across the hall. 'I don't want to hurt anyone because of it.'
