Aphmau's pov
"It's good to see you again, Aphmau." I smile. "Good to talk to you too, Mother. Why have you summoned me?" She starts to whisper and a white door appears. "I would like to talk to you where even your Father can't disturb us." Her voice fades and I have to guess her entity went through the door. I follow and whats behind the door is really familiar. A large meadow covered in flowers surrounds a large tree.
As I look around I feel my clothes fade into robes. I look down and I have on dark blue robes with golden trimming. "Why all the formalities?" I ask, walking towards the tree. "Because this is a very serious conversation." I turned around to see my mother in the flesh and blood. She looked just like me except for one thing. "Mother? Your eyes..." Her eyes were a glowing electric blue color. "Yes, people feared the power of these eyes. You were lucky not to have inherited them. On to the reason I called you here."
She walked past me to the tree. "Aphmau put your right hand right here, please." I look at the carving of a Phoenix next to the Irene Torch and do as I was told. As soon as I touch the carving my hand glows and images of my old friends flit into my mind. As well as possible futures. I look at my mother. "Who did you see?" I hesitate. "I, I saw Vlyad, Travis, Katelyn, Zane and Garroth." My voice cracks at the end of the sentence. "Mother, what do they have to do with why you called me here?" She takes a deep breath. "Your father does not think your ready to hear this and quite frankly, I agree with him, but time is running out. Aphmau the people you saw just now, they will fight by your side in the future."
I was confused. "'Fight by my side.'? A-Are you talking about the Final Battle?" She just nodded. "T-That's crazy! I-The legend states that one of the Divine Warriors turned on the others and became the Shadow Lord." She nodded again but this time she spoke. "Then this legend is correct. One of them will turn against you and one of them will become very close to your heart." I take a step closer."But how, Mother? Why now!?" A bell starts ringing in the distance. "It is because you are of age to receive my full power. Take care of your Divine Warriors. I love you, Aphmau, but I can no longer speak to you like this."
Her voice fades into the light. "Mother? Mother! Irene!!" I hear her voice one last time. 'Goodbye, my sweet daughter.' I wake up with tears streaming down my face. 'She's gone. I can't feel her presence. Mom!' I continue to sob quietly until I hear a voice. "Aphmau? Why are you crying?" It was Garroth. I didn't answer I just latched myself onto Garroth and cried into his chest. He just rubbed the small of my back until I calmed down a little.
"I-I'm sorry." I say rubbing my eyes. "It's alright. Lets go to my room to talk. We don't want to wake everyone else up." I look around and everyone was on the floor asleep. Even Max! I nodded. "Okay." He smiled and picked me up bridal style. "Ah! Garroth!" I whisper-yelled. "What? It's easier to get around like this." He was right but still it made me a little uncomfortable. "L-Lets just go." I was blushing and I didn't like it. Once we were in Garroth's room I explained the things my mother explained to me.
I left out the possible futures and the 'Him being Divine Warrior thing' but I explained the gist of things. "That is a really big load on your shoulders." He says after a few minutes. "Do you know who the next Divine Warriors are?" I hesitated. "Before I answer that, Garroth are you, Zane and Vlyad trained in combat?" He looked confused but he answered nonetheless. "Yeah, our father made sure we were trained in swordplay. Now your turn to answer my question."
"You and your brothers, Katelyn and Travis. History is repeating itself and we need to be prepared." All of a sudden Garroth pulled out his phone. "Call everyone but Zane. He'll be here in a couple hours." I take the phone and look at him blankly. "Thank you." He just smiled. "No need. I'd go to the ends of the Earth if it was for you." I blushed and went into the corner of the room for the call.
Call StartK: What do you want, Garroth?

I look over to Garroth and see he's already asleep. 'Good night, Garroth.' I think before drifting off to a dreamless sleep.
