'I Miss You'

Aphmau's pov

'Why is Garroth here?!' I was so busy freaking out that I didn't realize I stopped walking. "Hey are you okay?" Jin says putting a hand on my shoulder. I take a shaky breath. "I-I'm fine." I force a smile on my face. "Lets go get some food!" I say and walk ahead of the group. 'Oh mother, please don't let him see me.'

Garroth's pov

I head to my room as soon as I get checked in. 'Here it is! Room 204!' I insert the key and open the door to find a guy with red hair and an angry attitude on the bed closest to the door. I just ignored him and started unpacking my stuff. "So your my new roommate, huh?" I turned around. "Yeah, there a problem?" My patience was already wearing thin on this guy. "Nothing in particular. Just one warning though, you touch my stuff or call me any stupid nickname you will die."

I smirk. "Stop the tough guy act. You leave me alone, I leave you alone. Simple as that." The guy cracks a smile and holds out his hand. "Name's Max." "Garroth." I say as I take his hand. "I think we're gonna be good friends Garroth." Just then there was the sound of a door slamming and a girl yelling. Max just sighs. "Looks like Sky's bothering the neighbors. Come on lets go before a fight breaks out." I nod and follow Max down to the cafeteria.

After I get my food a big group of students walk in and I sense someone staring at me. I turn around to see a flash of dark hair and the angelic face I loved. She seems sad and a guy is trying to comfort her. He has his hand on her shoulder and it makes me mad. I look around to see anyone else I knew in high school. I've found Aaron, Travis, Katelyn, Zane and, of course, Aphmau. Guess we all had the same idea. I don't want to talk to any of them so I dump my food and go to my dorm. But I walk in front of Aphmau's table before I leave. Just to make sure she knows I'm here. The last thing I here in the cafeteria is the sound of Aphmau's breath hitching sadly.

Aphmau's pov

Garroth walks by my table before he leaves the cafeteria and I see him glance at me through his hair. My breath hitches and I feel like I'm about to cry. 'I miss him.' That one thought circled around in my mind. "Are you okay, Aphmau?" Shelby and Ross ask at the same time. I look at everyone around the table and decide I should tell them my secret. "Guys I have something to tell you but I can't talk about it here." I motion towards the rest of the cafeteria. They all nod and dump their trays. We all head back to my dorm to listen to my secret.
