How She Feels

"This is not what I ever wanted," Calla whispers to herself. "No one is here anymore, what did I ever do to deserve this from you? Especially you!"
She walked away feeling his pride of shutting her out. What was she supposed to do? Run up to him and beg for an answer that he wasn't going to give her? Walk back to him as if he would welcome her back with such loving and open arms? Just run away and never face the problem? Or just stand there and hope he will come back when you know he won't? None of this was an option, he moved on and she's not in the picture anymore. He acts as though he's in a video game and all she's there for is to be an obstacle. Or as though she's just an enemy that needs to be defeated before he can move forward closer to his princess in Browser's castle. He doesn't nor ever has actually just wanted her. What even was his motivation in the first place? To flirt and to have her then dump her not even a few weeks later. Or was it because she is "too much drama"? Maybe it's because she's not scared to speak her mind in such a voiceless crowd or have opinions of her own. Maybe it's because he knows she's smart enough to tell that he's lying when he says "I'm not mad at you". Maybe she intimidates him because she acts like she knows what she is talking about. Or maybe it's because all she will do is remind him of a past version of himself that he doesn't want.
He doesn't want her, but why can't she stop thinking about him? You only have one friend now and at times Rosana is all that you have at school. Rosana's the best person that she has ever met. Rosana puts up with Calla, but when Rosana is gone then what? Calla would have nothing and would eat away from everyone else. Even though she's just in the hallway, alone. He could always prove what he says and make his actions the same as his words. He pretends like nothing is wrong, he pretends to be clueless as to what's wrong. He says "I'm sorry", but then he still acts the same. He was never healing her, he only wanted to see how much she could take. He hesitates before he answers thinking it just seems natural, but that's where she finds all the true answers. She was tired of hearing him say "I'm sorry" "I won't do it again" and "I promise" you see the funny thing is is that she believed you for a while. She says nothing to him anymore because silence is the loudest scream that she can make right now without destroying everything. For her to say "I want you" would make her sound too eager. For her to say "I need you" is far too desperate. To say "I love you" is too hasty. She stays silent hoping he will say something to be indifferent.
She gave you her whole heart, all you gave her were lies and a broken heart. She wanted to talk about it. Hell she wanted to scream, to yell, to shout about it. But you couldn't take the overview so she said she was fine to avoid going in depth. Only because he couldn't handle the truth.
