Zoe opened the door for Connor and Evan, and herself.
"Okay you too, don't come in my room and Connor if you're gonna smoke open a window" Zoe warned
"I TOLD YOU I'VE STOPPED!" Connor yelled walking up to his room, Evan following. once they got up to Connors room he opened a window
"A-are you uh gonna erhm smoke?" Evan asked
"What no when I meant it when I said I'm stopping, but follow me" Connor stepped out the window and walked onto a branch waiting for Evan to follow "Come on its fine." Evan followed Connor out the window, He grabbed Evans hand and walked further up the branch and sat down with Evan next to him. "Jareds kind of a dick, huh?" Connor said with the breeze blowing through his hair.
"I-i mean yeah.." Evan stuttered
"Then why are you still friends with him?"
"Hes m-my only friend I mean b-besides you?" Evan said almost like a question.
"Oh." Connor finished the conversation and made it awkward with the silence. Evan looked over at Connor and looked over where he was looking, into the setting sun.
"U-uh so do you uh come out here every night??" Evan questioned.
"not every night, well when its cloudy or there's smoke around i don't come out here, but when it rains I do." Connor cooed and pulled himself closer to Evan placing his hand on the others. Evans face turned pink and he looked over at the taller boy. Connor smiled at him and gave him a small peck on the lips as the sun went under the horizon. "Lets go back inside before we get bitten my mosquitoes.."
They walked back into Connors room and sat down on the bed "So a-are we just going to uh not talk about uhm t-that?" Evans voice cracked.
"dont care really," Connor said "Uh are you staying over tonight or do you need a lift home"
"C-can I maybe stay here"
"Sure!" Connor swung his arm over Evans shoulders and kissed the shorter boys hair.
