Evan walked up to his rusty locker and opened it, he out his biology book into it and grabbed his History book out he closed his locker and turned around to see 3 taller boys from his biology class, "o-oh u-um h-hey?" Evan stuttered.
"Hey! saw you staring at the druggie in class, why? You gay or something??" one of the taller men raised his voice making Evan nervous.
"u-um j-just let m-me get to c-class" Evan said quietly trying to walk away from his locker and to his next class, One of the men well, Jarrod, picked him up by his collar Evan squeaked. Jarrod threw the smaller male on the hard floor and walked off with a smirk. Evan left laying back against the bottom row of lockers. Connor had witnessed the whole thing, he came running up to Evan as soon as the other boys left
"Holy shit are you okay? I'm so sorry!" Connor placed his hand on Evans shoulder
"y-yes" Evan mumbled, he felt panic run to his chest he didn't know how he could communicate with Connor anymore saying yes was hard enough. Evan had just found out he was totally gay for this Connor dude, but then again he has liked Zoe Murphy for... well since second grade.
"Ah shit, well hi I'm Connor, Connor Murphy.." he helped Evan stand up. "what subject do you have now?"
"H-history" Evan blurred out, his face when bright pink
"Shit me too, we can be late together than i guess" and they both walked off into their class. Unluckily Jarrod, was also in their history class
"o-oh yeah I'm uh Ev..Evan.." That's why Jared calls him Ev because when he tries to tell people his name he ends up fucking it up and saying Ev, then tries to correct himself by saying EVAN as fast as he can but most of the time the message gets across as his names Ev.
After a long second period about Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, Evan went to go find Jared, with Connor tagging along because, he too did have any friends. He usually hung out with his sister or by himself. When Evan found Jared, Jared instantly knew he didn't like Connor, just remembering second grade and how he threw a printer at the teacher for not letting him be line leader.
"Whats he doing here?" Jared cringed "Do you have a thing for the murphy family or something?" Evans face when bright pink again.
"w-what n-no!" Evans voice cracked and so he shut up before he could say anything else to Jared.
After about 15 minuets Jred had succeeded in pissing off Connor. Connor didn't want to scare Evan or hurt Jared, well he wanted to hurt Jared but not in front of Evan. The day went on as usual, and finally the last bell of the day rang and outside flooded with kids all ages. Connor had found Zoe so they both got into her car and drove off, Evan was waiting for the bus just so happens Zoe was stuck in traffic and near where Evan was waiting, so Connor put down the window and asked Evan if he wanted a lift home. Evan being Evan didnt know how to say no hopped in the backseat.
"Hey Evan" Zoe cheerfully said
"H-hey" To Evan this must've been terrifying, the two people he liked in the same car as him
"Evan do you want to come over to our place I mean if you're not busy?" Connor suggested.
"S-sure m-my moms um, not g-going to be home tonight.." Evan replied, With that they all went back to the Murphys.
