Connor walked up to the stairs with Mercury following, the small dog had trouble climbing up the stairs so Connor picked the dog up and carried him to his room.
"It's not fair why does Connor get a dog. I know I'm acting like those bratty 5 year olds but like, we hardly spend time with Connor and with Mercury around we'll spend less time with him. Besides Connor hardly does anything for us, how do we know he'll do shit for the do-" Zoe ranted to her mom.
"HE PISSED ON MY FUCKING SHIRT AND BED" Connor ran down the stairs with the dog in his hands. ( True story when we got my dog ! ) His mom took the dog out of Connors grip and gave him a town and a Urine off bottle with an old looking dog on the packaging. Connor walked back upstairs taking his dog pee covered shirt off and put a new one on.
"I got him the dog because he only has well.. Evan, and you have your group of friends, and us. Plus he's picking his life up again, I mean look at him. Hes stopped smoking and hes made er, 1 friend" Cynthia went on. Mercury struggled back up the stairs to try and get back to Connor, so Zoe went and held him for the first time and carried him up the stairs to Connors room. "Hey do you uh want your dog back?" She said quietly
"yes now get out." Zoe left the too much deodorant smelling room with the dog left in there. "Dude what if i got like Fish or other animals and called them other planets and famous comets. Holy shit that's such a good idea" Connor thought out loud. "Damn you should meet Evan." Connor gave a small smile to the probably confused dog. Mercury slowly fell asleep next to Connor and he texted Evan.
"Dude can you come over there's something you need to see!"
"Yeah, my moms not home yet."
"Cool sys!! ily!"
"Ok," ily2"
10 minuets passed and some knocks were heard on the front door. Mercury suddenly woke up as if he wasn't asleep, and started barking running out of Connors room and stumbling down the stairs. "Shit!" Connor ran after Mercury and answered the door. "Evan!" Connor hugged him. "Oh yeah so this is Mercury hes uh, like 3 months old or something?" they both went up to Connors room, Yet again Mercury struggling to get up the stairs so Connor helped him up.
Mercury drifted off to sleep again on the bed as Evan was stroking his head "Uh so w-why did your p-parents decide t-to get you h-him?" Evan asked
"I don't know, my mom just came home with him, Zoe might know."
"o-oh ok.." Evan yawned and laid on Connors chest.
It was 7.34pm and Evan, Mercury and Connor had all fallen asleep.
