14. All the Wrong Things

Gabby looks at me holding my kids and a bag or clothing along with food and clothing for the kids.

"Uhhh yeah" she said knowing what happen, she grabbed Lexie and a bag

"Come on in"

As the kids played and had a bedtime snack me and Gabby talked.

"So what happen" Gabby said taking a sip of her coffee

"Well, I caught him in a web of lies and he knew it" I say in a depressed tone.

"I just don't understand why, like why would he do something like that to me to his family I just don't understand what went threw his mine is she better them me and the family he had was it worth losing" I go on

Gabby looks at me and rubs my arm.

"You're better then him and his games he will realize what he lost don't you worry"

I smile knowing that will probably not happen I look at my kids

"Time for bed" I say politely

"Ahh I don't wanna go to bed" Bentley said in a cute baby voice

"Yeah" Lexie yelled in agreement

"Bed now lets go or no more snacks before bed" I said picking them up

Fineee" they said

While putting them to bed I read them The three little pigs which was their favorite book afterwards I tucked them in and gave them a kiss.

"Where is daddy" Bentley said looking at me said holding his teddy tight

"Daddy had to go on a trip for work" I said in a high pitch voice

"When, when will he be back" Lexie said

"Soon baby girl soon" I say turning on the nightlight and closing the door

As I walk out I take a deep breath and look down on the floor.

"He better be back I cant do this on my own" I say to myself walking out to the living room I sit back down to catch up with gabby more, as the door bell rings.

"I got it" Alex said from the kitchen

As he opens the door he sees Austin barley standing.

"Where, WHerE issSS myyyy Wife" Austin said slurring his words

Alex looks at me, and I look back at him as Austin pushes his way threw and walks over to me.

"I love youuuu Andd yoU Knoww that" he said collapsing to the ground

"Austin what's wrong, what did you do" I say in a panic

"I drank A lotttt till I could feel the pain of you leaving me, and I took some pain relief pill you had left over from having the kids" he rolls onto his back breathing heavy

"Call an ambulance" I yell to Gabby starting to cry.

"Why did you do this" I say looking back down at Austin

"I don't want to live without you" he said starting to cry.
