hoseok arrived at the train station the following monday, recalling what yoongi had told him over the phone about jungkook being worried about him, which had a small smile playing on the corner of his lips. 

as he approached the station, he saw jungkook leaning against the rails at the entrance, looking around quietly. 

when the younger boy's eyes met his, he rushed over to hoseok. 

"hoseok sunbae!" he practically yelled as he engulfed the slightly shorter male in a tight (yet very comfortable) hug. 

"woah! i missed you too jungkook-ah!" hoseok gasped, then laughed as he let the boy hug the shit out of him, the familiar blush that he seemed to always have around the boy returning to his face. 

hoseok found himself mcfucking lovin' this.

after burying his face in his sunbae's neck for a solid minute, jungkook looked up at him, inspecting him closely. 

"are you okay?"

"why weren't you here on thursday or friday?"

he gushed over the boy for a bit, then gasped and suddenly removed his arms from around hoseok, holding his hands up sheepishly. 

"sorry if that was too close sunbae, i know we're not close enough for hugs but i was just-" 

the older boy cut him off by putting a finger up to his lips, smiling brightly at the boy. 

"relax kookie, i was just sick, and if you want hugs, i want hugs too, so don't even worry about it," he reassured the younger boy, patting his head softly. 

wow, min yoongi is really a genius.

the nervous look on jungkook's face was quickly replaced with a cheeky smile. 

"kookie?" he asked in a joking tone. 

"oh! sorry, it just slipped out," hoseok scratched the back of his neck with a shy smile. 

"it's cute, i like it," jungkook said as he gave him another short hug. 

"anyway, i'm glad you're okay, and also...

can i have your number?"
