for the next few days, the boys' trips to school had been full of flirting and blushing on both of their parts, and they were both having the time of their life with each other. 

it was now the day of their promised date, and despite hoseok's protests, jungkook had come to pick him up from his classes. 

he felt jimin pat his back and when he turned back, the boy wiggled his eyebrows playfully at him before wishing him good luck and bidding him farewell, skipping off to who knows where. 

before he could say anything more to the shorter boy, a pair of strong arms wrapped around his waist from behind. 

"you ready?" he heard jungkook's voice coming from behind him, and he relaxed into his arms. 

"yeah, let me just go grab my stuff."

"already got it," the younger said sheepishly as he held up hoseok's backpack. 

"oh, thank you?" hoseok responded, pleasantly surprised.

"you're welcome, now let's get going." jungkook smiled as he dragged the older boy away from the building.
