Dear 30 Day Diary,
Change is inevitable. We are living in the reality that everything we touch will change sooner or later. Though, how would you define change? In the dictionary, it’s
‘to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone’
But, if every single one of us could give a definition of this very word through experience, then there will be a lot of definitions to tell. But now, I’m here to tell you mine.
Change. It is a word with five letters but with a deep meaning. Sometimes, it could be sad, sometimes it could be happy. Because everything could change for the better or for the worse, depending on what you do in the present. Change is something that’s affected by your actions, choices, decisions… everything. It could and will also teach you a lesson in life. Change could also make you want to go back and redo whatever you did wrong. But, think about it; whatever we did in the past was something we could look back in the future and think ‘huh, I was pretty stupid’ or ‘huh, I’m glad that happened to me back then… if it hadn’t then I could have made this mistake now.’ Another thing, have you ever experience having someone you care for change so much that you could barely tell who they were? Yeah, the feeling sucks doesn’t it? You just can’t help but ask yourself whatever you did wrong to make them change like that.
Who knew that one single word could do such thing to a person?
