Today's final lecture is over. I am so glad that it is, because I have no further interest in listening to another professor today. Now I'm just looking forward to spending the rest of my day with Dean.

We've decided that he'll pick me up when I'm done with school for the day, so now I just have to wait for him. I've already said bye to my friend Beth, so it's just me now.

"Aurora?" I turn my head when a male's voice calls my name. "Is it really you?" I finally catch whoever called me and a smile spreads itself across my face.

"Oh my God," I exclaim. "Logan." Yes, my ex-boyfriend Logan is here in New York.

He hugs me with the biggest grin on his face "It's so amazing to see you, again." He exclaims.

"I can say the same. What are you doing here in New York?" I ask when the hug is over.

"I finished school and got a job offer here at one of the companies." He explains.

"Does that mean you moved here?"

He nods. "Yeah, I've got my own place not too far from here."

"That's amazing, Logan." Even after we've ended things between us, Logan and I remained friends. There's no bad blood between us. I'm glad about it, too.

"So, how's New York? I mean ... I'm new to this city, so I don't know a lot of places and such." I giggle.

I was about to answer him, but I recognize Dean's voice when he calls my name. "Oh, you're here." I say to my current boyfriend.

"I said I would." He says.

"Oh, Dean, that's Logan. He's my old friend from high school." I introduce the two.

Logan and Dean shake hands. "I was her boyfriend, actually." Logan adds. My smile fades, because I don't know how Dean will react to that information.

"Ah, well I'm here current boyfriend." Dean says, some kind of smirk is adoring his face.

"Any who ..." I break the awkwardness. "Logan, you text me when you'd like to meet up, if you want to, of course."

"That would be great. I'd love to catch up."

"My number's the same, so feel free."

"Great," Logan exclaims. "See you sometime then." I take a step forward and give him a quick friendly hug.

"Nice hair, by the way." I say to him just when Dean grabs my hand and drags me the other way. Logan's brunette hair used to be longer and messier. It's better now that it's shorter.

Dean lets go of my hand a minute later to which I frown upon. I love having him do such small gestures. He maybe doesn't even acknowledge them, but I do. And I love them.

"I really missed Logan." I say once we fasten our seatbelts in the car.

"You sure weren't shy on showing it either." Dean mumbles.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I ask, sensing jealousy.

"The hug and "text me"." He tries to imitate my voice, but clearly fails.

"Oh, come on, Dean," I exclaim. "You don't have to be jealous of Logan. That is ancient history."

"Sure it is." I roll my eyes in annoyance.

"And what do you think will happen now that Logan is back, huh?"

Dean doesn't say anything, just taking his fingers through his hair while signing. "Do you want to hang out at my place or yours?" He completely changes the subject.
