"Why is it so cold today?" I whisper quietly into Dean's neck as we are cuddled together next to our lit fire pit.

We have officially moved into our new home and left our apartments. The house has little furniture in it. We still haven't bought everything, only the main things like the couch, the bed, the dining table and other essential things. The house is pretty empty, but we'll make it into a real home with time.

We go furniture shopping here and there and buy a few things, but we're very particular as to what we want each room to look like. None of us wants to throw ugly and random stuff together and call it a nice furnished house. No, we are carefully picking out.

But I do have to say I am feeling a bit bad that Dean is the only one paying for everything. I want to chip in, I really do, since I do have some money saved up, but he doesn't let me.

"Do you want me to get another blanket?" He whispers back.

The both of us are already in our sweaters and sweatpants, covered by a thick blanket. "No, it's fine." I could fall asleep like this, in Dean's arms.

"When is your dress appointment?" He asks and I lift my head to look at him, fixing some of his hair from his face.

"The day after tomorrow at 1 p.m." Veronica booked a plane ticket for me and I fly out tomorrow and come back in two days. I can't wait until I try on the wedding dresses at freaking Kleinfeld in New York. I've been there when shopping for Veronica's dress, but now it's my turn. So, that makes it more special.

"I hope you find a perfect dress." He kisses the top of my head. "I'll have to call and make sure the venue is booked, though. You can never be too careful with that."

Yes, me and Dean went to have a look at lots of venues all around and, in the end, we settled to have the wedding on the beach. We found the most perfect venue barely 40 minutes away by car.

It's going to be a very small wedding, of course – only our families and friends. That's what we both wanted. We still need to take care of a lot of stuff for the wedding. I can already see myself running around the place when trying to book a good photographer or something like that.

"And what kind of dress do you want to see me in?" I honestly really want to know and haven't asked him yet.

He thinks for a while before speaking. "Nothing with feathers, that's for sure." I giggle and nod. "I've seen those dresses with feathers and not one has been pretty." I burst out laughing.

"Really? Because I thought of buying a dress with feathers." The look he gave me was priceless. I burst out laughing. "I'm joking! I hate those dresses too."

"Anyway, I just want you to know that you don't have to worry about the price of the dress. You buy whatever you want, okay?"

I start to shake my head. "Don't say that! I don't get why you want to spoil me so much! I can pay for my own dress!" I hate him for buying everything for me.
