The girl flinched. "Could you be any more louder Maddie?"
"I can try."
"NO!"
"Oh. Sorry. HEY I GOT ICE CREAM! AND ONE FOR YOU! This guy paid." I pointed at our new friend.
"So who's the dude? What is he your slave now or something?"
"Hold on a second! I am not a slave. I simply offered to pay for her ice cream. Not that you deserve it.." New guy said.
"Is that so, Boy? she stood up taking a step closer to New guy.
He didn't move. He didn't flinch. He didn't even get scared. He smirked. and stood still. Weirdo.
"Yes, Girl so it is." She backed up a little.
"You're alright. Name's Amy." Now Amy's making that weird smile too? "That's Maddie" Amy told New guy as I giggled and waved. Amy held out her hand.
"I'm Vergil." He told us, still smiling, shaking Amy's hand. Again, weirdo.
My phone went off. "WHY NOW?" I hollered.
"Ugh. Maddie, turn it down a few notches will ya?" Amy responded, covering her ears.
"What's up?" Vergil (much better than New guy) asked me.
"Oh. Some dude wants a rematch in some game." I told him
"Would that game possibly be TOME?" My jaw dropped. No. Way.
"OH MY GOD YES!" HOLY CRAP A NEW FRIEND IRL AND IN TOME! I fangirled to myself.
"MADDIE! MOUTH!" Amy screamed. "Anyway, here. take this." Amy gave Miles a card that she wrote our codes on. "It's got our friend codes. Feel free to battle us when you can." She said in her own special, friendly, creepily calm way.
"Girls, It's dinner. Time to get inside." My mom said.
"COMING MOM!" I yelled back. BEST. DAY. EVER!
