Chapter 5: Love boulder

Sage p.o.v

"I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL!"

I hear Liam sing. From down the entire hallway. It sounds as if he's in my bathroom. I'm done with him.

"SHUT UP LIAM!"

I yell at him and I hear him laugh. Soon after I hear a loud thud, he slipped.

I get no response back but I do hear some music turn up louder. Is he really playing Taylor Swift now?!

I sigh and get up from the side of my bed. Today is the day the fear pack group is coming.

I walk over to my closet and pull out a light blue dress shirt and black jeans. I walk into the bathroom and shower.

'Yipide do da! Zip ide a, my oh my what a wonderful day.'

Bash sang in my head and that's when I became really confused.

'Why are you singing? You never sing.'

I ask him and he chuckles and blocks me out. I begin to hum the song and I curse Bash.

I get out of the shower and get dressed in the dress shirt and jeans. I run my fingers through my hair to give it the look I always loved.

I walk out of the bathroom and I grab my phone. I tap an email from alpha Henry.

Dear alpha Sage,

I have a feeling that the rouges are plotting against you. You are the most powerful pack, yet the army is very large. My sources on the inside tell me that Demitri is planning a full on attack on a certain pack. Yet, I do not know for sure who.

I roll my eyes and swipe the email away. I stuff my phone in my back pocket and walk out the door.

I walk downstairs to see everyone running around. The maids and omegas are cleaning, cooking, and preparing the rooms.

"Sage!"

I hear Liam yell. I turn in the sound of his voice and I see him run up to me.

"Is the garden and grass outside done?"

I ask him and he looks me over.

"Yes."

He answers with a nod.

"Is the pups all under control?"

I ask him.

"Yes."

He answers back.

"Newly shifted males in the cells?"

I ask.

"As far as we know."

He says.

"Food?"

I ask him.

"Chicken, Turkey, and steak. 30 chickens, 25 turkeys, and 4 whole cows."

He says and I nod.

"Good now all that's left is to wait for kaden to arrive."

I tell him as we begin our walk outside. Once we're outside we look over all the progress.

"Is the pool cleaned?"

I ask him and he nods.

"The forest paths cleared?"

I ask and he shrugs.

"Yes, unless you got mad again."

He says and I punch his arm.

"Ouch! Jeez man that hurt!"

He shouts as he holds his arm.

"Whimp."

I tell him without taking my eyes off the road ahead. But a loud whistle causes everyone to fall to their knees. Soon after a loud thud is heard and a mushroom cloud can be seen.

Two howls for help fill the air. One a she wolf and one a male. They are both filled with power so I'm guessing kaden and his beta's daughter.

'RUN YOU FOOL!'

Bash orders me and I take off into a full out run. I run as if I stole something, but the weird thing is I don't know why I'm running.

Bash pushed me faster and faster. More and more of my warriors join me. Liam catches up to me as we run.

We run into a clearing and Liam takes off in a different direction. A group goes with him. I look around to see alpha kaden unconscious with lots of wounds.

There is a she wolf lying next to the Boulder that my parents met at. I called it the love boulder when I was younger.

The red and black wolf had her eyes open. When her eyes locked with mine I couldn't help but be stunned.

Bash whispered one thing I never thought he would ever say.

'Mine! My mate!'

Jaylin p.o.v

"Cool your jets jay! We're almost there!"

Kaden says as I panic more. We had just entered power pack territory and something had me on edge. Spark wouldn't tell me why. No one's wolf would.

"Oh come on!"

Dad groaned as the car began to loose power. Kaden pulled over and we all unbuckled. Kaden unlocked all the doors and we were glad to have the windows rolled down.

"Hold up."

Kaden says as he opens the door. He stops and we all listen. That's when a low whistle fills my ears. I don't know what it is until kaden slams the door open.

"Jump! Shift! Run!"

He orders in his alpha tone. Kaden and I jump and shift out the left side of the car while Alaska and dad jump out the right side and shift. We all bolt into opposite directions.

My red and black wolf Springs into a full on run. Kaden's wolf if right next to mine. We are both about the same speed and size.

'Faster!'

Kaden urges me. We both know that we are running at full speed. I hear a loud boom and I'm flung forward. I let out a howl for help and kaden joins in on it.

My body crashes through 2 trees and is slammed against the flat side of a boulder. I yelp in pain as I feel my shoulder break.

Kaden went through 2 trees and crash landed into a huge thorn bush. He was unconscious but alive.

The sounds of running footsteps filled my ears. Soon a large group of men came through the trees. And leading them were two men.

I recognized one as beta Liam from a Allied pack meeting a few months back. But I didn't recognize the other one.

The one I didn't recognize began shouting out orders. I locked eyes with the man and right before I blacked spark said one thing I never thought she would say.

'Mate.'
