Chapter 2: leaving

Sage's P.O.V

I sit at my desk staring at my computer. My beta, Liam, sits at his desk across the room. He is playing with one of those fidget spinners.

"Ouch!"

He yells and I glance over at him. He is rubbing his eyes as he holds his nose.

"Your an idoit."

I mumble and he looks at me. He must have tried balancing it on his nose.... again.

I roll my eyes and go back to typing my email to the prison pack. In transporting some prisoners over their so they can be trained into warriors.

"Oh man, I just got an email from beta luke! He says he wants me to meet his daughter and her friend. They're looking for their mates."

Liam tells me and I tap send on the email.

"Let them in, none of them will be my mate anyway."

I tell him and he begins to type up the reply. I turn my eyes back to the file on my desk.

'We will find mate, she is out their.'

Bash, my wolf, tells me. I roll my eyes and block him out. He always has this annoying false hope about our mate. I'm 25 and am still mateless. I see 17 year Olds making out with their mates. It causes my wolf to whimper from loneliness. I almost banished PDA in the back.

"And done."

Liam says as he turns to face me from his desk. He has a smile on his face and I place the file back in the file cabinet.

"Good now we should probably go check on the warriors."

I tell him with my normal stone cold voice. My face hasn't shown any sort of emotion after my parents died. My breaking point was when I banished my siblings. It was out of anger and I wish I could take it back.

But I can't.

"Dude you need to take a chill drug because chill pills don't work on you."

Liam says as he grabs my shoulders. I growl at him and he imeaditly removes his hands from my body.

"Don't you dare touch me."

I growl at him as I leave my office. I slam the door behind me. I leave the house to go check on the warriors.

Jaylin p.o.v

I hear my door slam open and my curtain open as well.

"Rise and shine! You have a long day planned ahead of you."

My mom said and I groaned and covered my head with a pillow. I felt something very heavy land on my stomach and my eyes shot open.

"Wake up!!"

Alaska yelled as I sat up. She climbed off me with a smirk on her face.

"Okay now that your awake you can get up and get dressed."

Dad says and I roll my eyes.

"Fine get out!"

I yell and everyone leaves the room. I get up and find a pair of grey sweat pants and a black tee shirt. I find some Nike sandles and slide those on my feet. I put my hair into a messy bun and find my sunglasses. I put my phone, charger, and some hair ties in my little black purse. I toss that over my shoulder and walk downstairs.

When I get there I see Alaska in a baggy hoodie and grey skinny jeans. Her hair was in a high pony tail. I didn't pay attention to the others as I didn't care.

"Jay! Your ready but look terrible! I'm fixing you in the car."

Alaska says and I chuckle and nod. Everyone else is so excited and I'm just like 'who cares'.

"Okay guys I have everything planned out. Alaska and jaylin are riding with luke and I. Jonah, knoll, and Isabella you are all riding with Brody. If you don't know who that is its ravens brother."

Kaden says and knoll, Jonah, and Isabella all groan. Apparently they all wanted to ride with me because I get more room.

"Let's get outta here!"

Brody yells as he runs out the door. He's still as childish as ever. I have heard stories from raven about her oldest brother, Brandon. He died before he met his mate and raven took it really bad. I wish I could have met him, he sounds really cool.

We all walk out to the cars. Brody is driving a grey SUV and kaden is driving a white SUV.

We all get in as our bags were put in the trunks last night. Luke and kaden begin to drive towards warrior pack territory.

"Okay so let me see you."

Alaska says and I turn to face her. She gasps and cringes.

"What is it?"

I ask her and she pulls out a makeup kit.

"I need to fix your face. It looks like you have been through something she-wolves don't go through."

She tells me and I furrow my eye brows. She leads forward and does my make up for me.

"What do I look like I've gone through?"

I ask her and she smiles as she shakes her head.

"Rember when we had to learn about the female anatomy during school?"

She asks me and I nod.

"Ya so what?"

I tell her and she smirks.

"You look like you've gone through a human period."

She tells me and luke and kaden cringe. We both burst out laughing.

"I forgot what a period was Alaska, could you please reteach me?"

I ask her with a fake innocent voice. She smiles and nods.

"I'll do the best I can jay. But I don't know if I Rember all of it. Beta luke do you Rember anything?"

Alaska asks my dad and he tenses.

"N-no I don't recall anything. How about Y-you kaden?"

My dad asks and kaden glares at him.

"As a matter of fact I do rember. You forget, Romen is both god and wolf. But she is also human."

Kaden says and this time everyone cringes.

"Thank goodness we only get heat after we get our mates."

Alaska says and both men in front of us cringe.

"Don't you dare speak of that."

They both say and I giggle.

'I feel Kaden's arousal. What did you do?'

Raven mind links me and I burst out laughing.

'Just asked him about heat.'

I tell her and Alaska also bursts out laughing.

'Good luck girls.'

Is all raven said before she blocked me out.

'JAYLIN WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FATHER! HE JUST SENT ME THIS IMAGE!'

Mom yelled at me via mind link. She showed me the image dad sent her with the mind link.

It was of them in bed with mom chained down.

'Mom I'm scarred for life!'
