Chapter 11: if I told you

Sage's p.o.v

"Okay."

I tell her and she takes my hand. We stand up together and she leads me out of the bathroom. She's only in a towel but she looks so hot.

"Sit. I'll be back in a few minutes."

She says as she points to my red leather couch in the cornor of my room. I nod and take my seat. She goes into the closet.

A few minutes later she comes back out in a black dead pool shirt and jeans. She has black Flip flops on and her hair is in a pony tail.

"Okay, so speak."

She tells me as she sits next to me. She grabs my hand and I sigh.

"What if I told you all the stupid things I've done? What if I told you a barely know what love is? Would you look the other way, or would you love me anyway?"

I ask her and she sighs.

"Sage I would love you anyway. Please just tell me!"

She pleads and I sigh.

"Well what do you want to know?"

I ask her and she thinks for a moment.

"What was the main experience that caused you to be so cruel?"

She asked and I looked at the floor.

Flashback

"This is my pack and I will run it how I want to run it!"

I shout at Brandon and he scoffs.

"Taxing the people for protection?! Sage that's insane!"

Brandon yells back at me. I'm 18 and he's 15! He thinks he can run a pack?!

"It's my choice! If they want protection then they better pay up!"

I shout back at him and I hear the door slam open. In walks a fuming Raven.

"You plan on doing what?!"

She screams at he and I growl and pin her to the ground.

"My pack! My rules! My law!"

I yell in her face and she knees my in the balls. I groan and fall off her.

"Sage Blake you are just a greedy teen who doesn't have a clue how to run his pack! The people who are poor won't be able to pay! The commen pack member won't be able to pay!"

She screams at me and I stand up and roar at her.

"I alpha sage command you to take a tour of the packs to learn how to fight! Then when you come back you may be able to beat me for alpha!"

I command her and she growls and runs out. I'm soon tackled by Brandon and he knocks me out.

Flashback over

"That's the main reason?"

She asks me and I nod.

"That's the reason why it's so hard for me to let anyone have a say in anything."

I tell her and she nods.

"What made you be so cold and distant?"

She asks with curiosity in her eyes.

"I witnessed my father's death first hand. He was killed by rouges right in front of me."

I tell her and she nods.

"How many girls have you been in bed with?"

She asks and I sigh.

"A total of about 23 of power pack members and on pack tours. Total was about 34."

I tell her and she sighs.

"Did you love anyone before me?"

She asks and I sigh.

"Not truly, no."

I tell her and she smiles.

"What was your childhood like?"

She asks and I look back at the ground.

Flashback

I was walking to school. Just a normal 8 year old, except I was picked on. A lot.

I was obese, nerdy, and looked ugly. My nose was always in a book and everyone hated me. Everyone avoided me at all costs, not even caring if I was to be the next alpha.

When ever I thought about ending my life of thought of my mate. Would I really let her go with someone else? No she's mine!

"Hey look! It's sage! Sage the page turner! Sage the one who will never get a girl! Ha! I bet his mate will reject him, who would want that!?"

A kid yelled as I walked in. I was soon tripped and I fell on my face. My lunch spilled all over my shirt. I look up to be met with Lucy, my main bully.

"Watch it you twerp!"

She screeches and I run away crying. I run home to mom and dad. They let me stay home but I know I'll have to face them tomorrow.

End of flashback

"No way!"

She yells but I nod.

"I wasn't always this good looking!"

I say and she begins to laugh.

"Anything else?"

I ask her after she calms down.

"Will you mark me?"
