Kelan ba naging masaya manloko? Siguro sa iba thrilling. Pero ako? Dala nalang siguro ng hinihinging pabor.

"So he's on the junior high campus? Together with whom?" Tanong ni Glaiza sakin sa kabilang linya.

"He's in the guidance office. Doon sya deployed for immersion."

It was around 3 in the afternoon and early dismissal kami para sa isa naming klase, na nakaschedule ngayong araw ang advisory class ng teacher namin for the ongoing recollection.

"Look for him. Approach him. Get his attention Lyl.

What was she up to?

"I bet she won't even look at me. For sure kilala ako nun Glai." marahan kong sagot

"That's why you are going to approach him, para pansinin ka. Lyl, do you want to do it or not?" She asked. Her voice was laced with disappointment.

Obviously, the end is clearer than the sun even without trying. Pero pinipilt nya parin. I just don't know why she's pushing me to do this. I bit my lower lip and rolled my eyes to suppress my emotions right now.

"Okay. I will be looking for him." I told her on the other line and ended the call.

"Oh?

I nodded and marched out of the cafeteria, sumunod naman agad sya.

Dito kami madalas magpractice ng DLC, together with some of other students from Junior and Senior High. Our group the BC Maroons compete for bigger competitions in the city and province.

We consider this as a hobby almost every afternoon not anymore a traning, nasanay nalang din kami na lagi naming ginagawa ang drills. But for today, parang madadagdagan ang gagawin ko, out of my league.

"Caf! Are you okay? You're zoning out."
Natulala na pala ako. I nodded at kyla again. Assuring her that I'm okay.

She told me and ran towards some of the twirlers. Ilang sandali pa bago ako nagpasyang umalis doon.

Maybe if I will try practicing my routine, I'll know what to do next.

Bahala na kung ano man ang mangyari.

I walked pass the Libro, an exclussive bookstore and merchandise store for BC before I headed directly to the office.
