Chapter V

"He did what?!"

Malakas na singhal ni Glaiza saakin sa kabilang linya. Naikwento ko na sakanya ang nangyari sa resort. Kung paano akong pinahiya ni Jet ng araw na yon.

"kaya nga ayaw ko na Glai. He's too much." I said in a dismissive tone.

Tama naman ako. I wasn't picking a fight nang araw na yun. Actually, my plan was to say sorry to him and pay for his phone. Well atleast yung pagpaayos. Wala naman akong pera para palitan ang ios phone nya.

It could've been a peaceful talk kung marunong lang syang makipag usap at hindi sya bastos. I mean, yeah
I was rude that time, but it's because he provoked me.

Hindi ako marunong magpasensya. Kaya pasensyahan nalang kami. Mabilis lang talaga kumulo ang dugo ko sakanya actually. Sakanya lang.

"What? Are you serious? You should get back to him! Hindi ka pa pwedeng tumigil habang hindi pa natin napapatunayan na sya ang dahilan! Kaya bakit tayo titigil?" Glaiza asked in a very persistent voice.

I'm starting to get annoyed at her. Hindi nya ba maintindihan na nauubos na ang pasensya ko sa pinapagawa nya? Napahilanos nalang ako sa mukha ko at napa yuko na lamang. I'm really frustrated right now to even explain to her. Halos bumuntot nako sa lalaking yun kung saan sya nagpupunta sa eskwelahan.

There was this one time when I went to the guidance office to visit ate Aileen, to seek for advice on how to deal with difficult persons. My initial plan was to let him hear what we're going to talk about. Wala lang to piss him off. But when I went there she's also about to leave the office.

"Oh Lyla. What brought you here? Ikaw lang mag isa?" She asked then glanced past me to look for my possible company.

I shook my head and made my way inside her office.

"You're alone ate?" then I roamed my eyes iside. Sayang wala ang isang yun. Then I looked at her already standing beside me holding her keys.

"ah, Oo. Inutusan ko kase si Jet na bumili muna ng Snacks namin sa Cafeteria. Do you need anything? You can text him if you want something to eat. Ipasabay mo na. My treat." she smiled at me widely. This is what I like about ate Aileen the most. She's so generous and soft spoken.

So kaya wala dito dahil inutusan nya pala.

" Here, ito yung number nya. Itext mo nalang kung ano ang gusto mong kainin. Kaaalis nya lang eh. Hindi ba kayo nagkasalubong?" she asked again while she handed me her phone showing his cellphone number. I creased my brows. Then she smiled at me again, as if hearing my thoughts. "I don't have load right now kaya hindi ko sya matext." she apologetically said.

I looked again at her phone on my hand. Well, this will be an advantage to keep track on him and to pester him more. I smirked. I reached for my phone and copied his phone number on mine.

" Thanks ate. " I mumbled as I typed on the phone.

"Bakit pala nabisita ka dito? is there any problem?" She asked a bit looking at her wrist watch. I bet she's in a hurry but still keeping me company.

"uhm I was planning to ask you about something but it seems like this will take us time and you also seems to be in a hurry... But it's okay. Hindi naman urgent." I answered giving her a suppressed smile.

"Oh? Ganon ba? Can you wait for me to come back? If its okay with you? Miss Principal was asking me to see her in her office just earlier before you arrived. This is just quick. Pagbalik ko we'll talk okay?" pag eexplain nya habang tinatanggap ang cellphone nya pabalik.
