Randhir's fisted palm slipped off my hold as I stood there perplexed watching the couple walk through our sights. The girl looked pretty much my age and she had a gorgeous face. The pink sundress she was wearing gave away the sight of her long slender legs with her feet supported by four inch pink stilettos. Her beautiful long hair with purple streaks cascaded down till her waist. She was dangling in the arms of a handsome man-her arm entangled with his as they walked out of our sight, into a huge car(woah!) outside the airport parking.

She was the girl he loved!

The first thing I did after the car whooshed out of the lot was look down at my attire and boy did I look shabby! My black long skirt and red top were mismatched and for god's sake, I had forgotten to change into my heels and was wearing my regular flats! I would probably look like a potato in front of that beauty. My straight lusture-less hair was knotted into a braid and was way behind in comparison to hers.

I heard a slight shuffling from beside me and that jolted me out of my 'self criticizing' trance. I turned my face hesitatingly towards a miserable Randhir who looked like a disaster then. His eyes had gone blood red and his posture seemed so defeated. I felt a tinge on my heart seeing him like that.

"It's okay Randhir. Let's go.." I grabbed his stiff hand and tried to pull him from his position, instead felt a strong tug from his side.

"She moved on.." He whispered in a defeated voice and rested his hazy gaze on me. His eyes going softer with each second as they locked with mine. I stilled for a second and moved my stiff neck only to wince slightly.

I have to do something about that as soon as I reach home! My mind butted in and then all of a sudden, I felt a tug on the arm he was holding me by and he was dragging me towards the car. He pushed me inside the car and I found myself squished on the passenger's seat. He hurriedly settled himself on the driver's seat. Before I could even speak a word or even tie the seat belt, we were already whooshing through the road in a speed which could have almost killed us and the pedestrians. I gulped in fear and caught hold of the seat tightly. My bewildered eyes were glued to his expressionless face.

"Randhir..." I stammered and tugged at his sleeve. He pushed my palm away and concentrated on wheeling the car-which by the way, was moving with the speed of light.

"Where are we going? Randhir..?" I squeaked breathlessly, holding the edge of my seat with a death grip. Well technically his driving was deathly. He payed no heed to my protests. I was withering internally with the pain on my neck due to the thrusts and my cringing face was truly depicting that, but he was least bothered.

"Randhir! You have taken the opposite route to the apartment.. Goddamnit just tell me where are you planning on going?" My voice shook at the end. His gaze was straight at the road. That gaze, that bone shivering gaze!

A few minutes later, we jerked into break in front of a clinic and I sighed in relief. For a moment there I had conjured up that we were on our way to hell/heaven. He pulled me out of the car and literally dragged me towards the entrance of the clinic.

"We need medication.." The receptionist looked up at us in bewilderment when Randhir banged his hand on
her table.

"IMMEDIATELY!" His roar literally made me jump out of my skin. The poor girl strode towards the doctor's chamber while muttering to herself and I shifted my gaze over Randhir. He looked like an angered bull with a red face. Yeah a major turn on.

The ride back home was pretty much uneventful. He looked pissed the whole time and I couldn't drive due to the Doctor's recommendation. She prescribed me few pills for the sprain and wrapped a heating band around my neck. Major relief. I was immensely forbidden from turning my neck at any circumstances, hence I thought it would be great if I took a chance-nap on the way back to the apartment-blocking off all the jumbled up thoughts of the happenings of the day. It was nearly afternoon and the sun was up on the top. The damn rays were annoying the only good thing in my tired life;my sleep. I felt Randhir cologne near my face for a moment and the next thing I remembered was waking up on my bed.
