I was driving to an interview shoot to pick up Johnny. I was trying really hard to concentrate on the road, than the dizziness I was feeling. Thankfully it was a quick drive and I parked in the parking lot. I pulled out my phone and called Johnny. He answered it and said, "Hey, baby." I swallowed. "I'm here." He laughed and said, "Alright, babe. Can you come in for a second?" I started sweating, "Johnny, I can't..." My vision started to get black around the edges, and then all of the blackness caved in. mop
Johnny's P.O.V
I heard a horn outside and it was louder in my phone. I rushed out to the parking lot and looked into Christine's car. I gasped and ran to the car door and opened it. I moved Christine and the horn stopped blaring. I shut the door and patted her face. "Christine, wake up! Baby wake up please!" I put the car in reverse and decided to speed to a hospital. When we arrived they got her in a room fast and I went outside to smoke and call Braden. I heard it ring a few times and finally she answered. "Hello?" "Braden, listen to me, I need you to watch Claudia for a little longer. Christine's in the hospital." I heard her gasp and she said, "What is she ok?!" "Listen! Just watch Claude, ok? I'll pay you whatever you want, just please listen to me." She sighed. "Ok, I will. Here, she wants to talk to you." I heard movement on the other end and finally I heard the voice of my beautiful baby girl. "Hey daddy." I smiled and flicked my cigarette. "Hey, baby. How's everything going?" She giggled and said, "Good, daddy. How's mommy? Is she ok?" I shivered from the cold and said, "She's doing fine right now, sweetheart. She's just a little sick and we probably won't be home til' late tonight. Can you be a good girl for Aunt Braden til' we get home?" "Yes, daddy I will. I'll bake cookies for mommy when she gets home, ok?" I smiled and my heart warmed. "Ok, Claudia. I gotta go now. I love you, sweetie and be a good girl." "I love you too daddy, and I will. Bye." I said my goodbye and walked into the hospital with my head down. I walked to her room and she was awake on the bed drinking water. My heart jumped in my throat and I said, "Oh thank God you're ok." I sat by her side and took her hand. "Johnny what happened?" I swallowed hard and she said, "Baby, you blacked out in the parking lot. Your head fell on the horn. Don't you remember?" She shook her head and she said, "I have good news." I kissed the tips of her fingers and she said, "Johnny, they think that I'm pregnant. Their doing and advanced test right now to see." My eyes went wide and I said, "What? You think...I mean do you think you are?" Christine shrugged at me. "It could be possible. Weird cravings, dizzy spells, and I'm late." I smiled and she wrapped her hand around mine. "But don't get excited." I nodded and that's when the doctor came in. I looked at her and then her him. "Hello, you must be the husband?" I shook my head. "No, boyfriend actually." He nodded and said, "Well, there's no sign of blood pressure drop, or any cranial damage. But on the pregnancy test it came out..." He looked at a white paper and said, "Positive. Congratulations you two. You're pregnant!" I smiled and sighed with relief that it was nothing serious. The doctor said, "In a few minutes, I'll get a couple of nurses to unhook your IV's and you're free to go." He left and I leaned over to kiss Christine. "Oh Christine, I could kiss you forever. I love you so much." She was crying happily and I was on the verge of doing it. My wish was coming true...I was going to become a father again.
