Christine's P.O.V
Johnny and I were getting ready to go to bed. I was laying down on the bed while he was brushing his teeth. "Hey, babe?" He called. "Yeah Johnny?" I heard him walk in and I looked at him. "Do you think that Claudia's taking this 'big sister' thing well?" I nodded. "We talked about it and she said that she'll take it well for us." Johnny sighed, "She's avoiding me. Almost as if she hates me." I giggled as he laid down beside me and said, "Johnny, she doesn't hate you. Just have a chat with her tomorrow, ok?" He gave me a crooked grin and a kiss. I turned over and turned out the light and he pulled me into a spooning position. "Good night, Christine." I leaned back into him and moaned, "Good night, Johnny." I closed my eyes and fell asleep in his arms.
I believe I was in a dream when I found myself standing in a colorful meadow. I had on a white gown and I had a tiny baby bump. I began to walk around the meadow until I saw...Daddy?! I ran towards him and turned him around. "Hey, Baby!" I gasped. I could finally hear his voice! It was deep like Johnny's but was a bit smoother. I hugged Daddy, and he said, "I've missed you so much, Christina." He always called me by my real name and that's how I could always tell he was my daddy. We pulled away and he placed a hand on my belly. "You're pregnant?" I nodded and he asked, "Who is the father?" I looked into his eyes and said, "Johnny. We already have a baby girl together." His eyes widened a little and he gulped. "Is Johnny being a good father?" "Yes, daddy! He's been taking real good care of me since I've become pregnant and he promised that he's going to be a good father. I love him, Daddy. He helped me with your..." Tears started forming in my eyes as I thought back to the memory his suicide. He pulled me into his chest and said, "Baby, it was an accident, it really was. I...I took three antidepressants than two, plus I had some rum and...I'm so sorry for leaving you alone, Christine." We started to cry together and he said, "Do you know the sex of the baby yet?" I shook my head. "It'll be a little while before we find out." We pulled away again and I heard a woman's voice from afar. "Lance, we have to go honey!" Daddy looked at me. "Christine, before I go, I need you to tell Johnny to check inside that guitar that I gave him." I nodded and he kissed my cheek and he left me.
I opened my eyes with a small gasp emitting from my body. Johnny had a pillow rolled up and was holding it under his chin. His dark eyes were looking at me and he said, "What were you dreaming about, babe?" I turned over and faced him. "Daddy." He pulled me closer to him and asked, "What happened in the dream?" I stroked his cheek. "We talked about the baby and Claudia and he wants you to check the inside of that guitar that he gave you." His eyes sparkled a bit and he nodded. We looked into each other's eyes for a minute before he said, "Christine?" "Yeah?" He swallowed. "I already checked inside it, and..." He brought my left hand to my vision and I saw a gold band with a large diamond on it. "Will you marry me?"I gasped and he smiled. "I love you." My eyes began to water and I nodded. He leaned down to kiss me and it was the most passionate kiss of a life time.
