Johnny's P.O.V
I was upstairs at the kitchen table smoking a cigarette and looking at Lance's Diary. Christine and Claudia were out getting dinner and they told me to stay at home, so I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to look through his Diary. I flipped a page and I read an entry.
July 28
I bought this journal today to write down A few thoughts. Anyways today I met this girl in Geometry, and asked me for tutoring. She's really pretty. Her name is Angie.
August 1
Sorry for not writing for awhile. Angie's been keeping me on my toes for this tutoring. Today, I went over to her house and I found that her dad is extremely mean to her. Then while I was helping her, she gripped onto my hand. I think I love this girl.
December 25
Mom and Dad let me invite Angie over for Christmas Dinner. Thankfully they didn't embarrass me in front of her. Even better, we kissed under the mistletoe. What a night!
June 9
My best friend Johnny and I went out with his girlfriend in a double date for his birthday. By the way, sorry for the ten year delay from writing. I'm twenty now and Angie's only nineteen. I have just received the best news of my life! I am going to be a father! How exciting is that?!
October 31st
Today Angie and I went to the doctor today. Our baby girl is healthy and will be with us in a few months. Also today is my twenty first birthday and Angie let me feel our baby girl kick for the first time. It was such a beautiful thing.
March
Today, my baby girl was born and I'm watching her sleep as of right now. We name her Christine after my mother and Angeline after Angie. If she ever has a boy, I'd want her to name her first son after me.

I froze at that entry. From the day she was born her wanted her to name her first born son after him. I gulped and turned a couple of pages before I found another entry.
January
Christine came home from school today telling me that she met a new friend today. His name was Jacob and she claims that she "likes him". No little boy goes around my baby girl, no one! At least until she gets over her mother's passing.

It's obvious that he was drunk when he wrote that one because it made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Then I heard the front door open and my two girls appeared. "Hey ladies." I said and Claudia giggled. I stood up and asked, "Can we talk please?" She nodded and we walked into our bedroom. I shut the door and she gasped, "Ooh, Johnny." She grabbed mg hand and placed it on her slightly swollen belly. We sat there until I felt a kick and I smiled at her. "He kicked." I said in awe. She nodded and smiled. "Now what is it babe?"; I rubbed her belly and said, "I know what I want to name our son." She nodded and I continued, "I want to name him Lance. After your dad. Is that ok? I mean if it's not then..." She leaned up and kissed my lips sweetly. Christine pulled away with tears in her eyes and said, "This is the sweetest thing you could ever do. Yes I want to name him after daddy."
