Chapter 2

Vacation

Kaoru's POV:

"Finally!! School is over!! I can finally have my beauty sleep!!" I yelled happily.

Yep, school's over peeps. I literally cried for joy once we dropped the studies down.

"Kaoru! Not so loud!" my mom scolded me.

"Sorry!"

I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder. I looked up to see my boyfriend looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just, putting an arm on my girl."

I giggled and sat down on the couch with him beside me.

"Kaoru? Who is this guy?" my protective older brother Dai asked.

"Takeshi."

"Oh, so he was the guy who kissed you when you got home months ago?"

Before I could answer, dad suddenly butted in.

"Who? Who kissed you? Who is that guy? I'm gonna kill him!!" Dad yelled.

"Dad, calm down! He's my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend? I thought you weren't into guys like him," my younger brother Shou said.

"Well, I got this guy," I said.

"Okay, boy," dad said.

"Bu- uhh, Takeshi, dad," I said.

"Okay Takeshi, one wrong move on my daughter, and you're dead," dad said.

I don't think that would work... he's Butch afterall... I thought.

"Don't worry sir. I'll take care of your daughter so no worries," Takeshi said, patting my head like I was a dog.

I slapped off his arm and glared at him. He chuckled and stopped.

Takeshi and I walked to the lab, hand in hand. We reached the lab and saw the others sitting down, looking at the professor.

"Hey guys! We have something to tell you," Professor said.

"What is it?" I asked as we sat down.

"Since it's Summer now, I've decided to have a vacation at the beach in one full month," he said.

Our eyes widened. 'A-are you serious Professor?" Miyako asked.

"Yes. I'll tell your parents all about it and convince them."

"Yeah!!" We all yelled as we jumped in joy.

"When are we going?" Brick asked.

"Two days so we still have time to pack and convince your parents."

"Okay! Kaoru?" Miyako said.

I groaned loudly. "I'm not shopping for bikinis!" I yelled.

"Why not? I think you'll look great in one Butters," Butch said, wiggling his eyebrows. I turned red and punched him in the stomach.

"Owiee.... how are you so strong?" he squeaked out, holding his pained stomach.

"I'm Buttercup, that's why."

~Time Skip again~

"Guys, I told you, I'm not going to wear a bikini!" I yelled.

"Why not? It will look stylish on you Kaoru! We're buying you one!" Momoko said, dragging me to the shop.
