Kaoru's POV:

I walked around the resort as I look around if there's anything suspicious. It has been 2 days ever since I left Butch. I just don't want to get hurt again and cause any more trouble even though I didn't want to let go of him.

"Still sad about your break up with your Takeshi-boo?" I heard someone say. I looked to the side and saw Kahoru leaning on the wall of the hotel.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just wanna talk to you. Why did you break up with him? I thought you loved him."

"I did. Why are you asking?"

"Oh nothing. Just want to... know..."

"You know Kahoru, I've been having troubles with my rival lately. And do you remember that I called you 'Brute'?"

"Yes and that was insulting. And cool since brutes are strong and I like it."

"Well, do you know how Brute looks like?"

"No."

"She has raven hair styled in a Mohawk, green eyes that are darker than mine, have a bit raspy voice like mine, and has dark green cracked compact in a white belt. She has been trying to steal Takeshi from me and has been obsessed on getting him. She seems to mock me today because she asked why I broke up with Takeshi," I walked closer to her. "Brute, what have you done to him?"

"I told you I'm not Brute!"

"How is that compact doing? Why is it cracked?"

"It fell once hard on the ground!"

"Why does it have a 'P' on it?"

"I-it's my last name!"

"What is your last name?"

"Hey! I'm not going to tell you!" she crossed her arms, looking away.

"Why not, Brute? Can't think of a last name?" I smirked.

"I'm not Brute! And, I do have a last name! It's... uh..."

"Gotcha. What have you done to Butch, Brute?"

She sighed heavily. "I shouldn't have asked..." I heard her mutter. "Okay, fine! You got me!"

"Now, how did you get the seaweed when it's rare? I know you used that to mess up Boomer and Butch's brains!"

"How'd you know?"

"Do you even know we have a Professor?"

"Okay. Well, a mermaid got us one."

"A... mermaid," I asked, deadpanned. "Are you believing in fairy tales now?"

"Oh never mind. You don't want her help anyway," she smirked.

"Okay, okay! Who is she?"

"Renee Hope. Also known as Kanae Hiragana. She once worked for us so that her lover won't get killed by us. But she actually had a plan to get us first before us getting to her brother. But eventually, we killed him along with her brother."

"Kanae?" I asked. That's why she won't tell us about her past with them...

"Yes, Kanae. You're lucky that she refused to come back to us. We might as well bring them back to life anyway."

"Who would want to make a deal with you?"

"You. If you want Takeshi and Hiroki back."

"I would if Kanae didn't give us one of the seaweeds you mentioned."

"Great... well... fight ya later," and with that, she walked away.

I seriously hate that girl...
