Chapter 11

What has happened to you?!

Kaoru's POV:

I ran to the back of one of the buildings close to the small houses and dropped to the ground, hugging my knees.

I rubbed my sore cheek as tears came out of my eyes. I bit my lip. The pain is still there. Not just my cheek is hurt, my feelings are too.

"I saw you making out with Mitch earlier! I hate you!!"

I never expected him to yell that.

"Kaoru?" I heard a voice say.

I looked up to see Natsuki looking down at me.

"Why a-are you h-here?" I asked.

"Just want to see you. What happened to you?" he knelt down.

"Bu-- I mean, Takeshi slapped me hard. He said that he saw me kissing Mitch when I didn't."

"Why would he think that? Does he know how much you hate him?"

"Yeah. But, he called me a liar."

"How's your cheek?"

"Very bad."

I felt arms wrap around me. I saw that Natsuki is hugging me, which making me calm down. I hugged him back.

Taro/ Brick's POV:

Boomer and I dragged Butch to the small house and chained him to the bed since he was thrashing around.

"Butch!! Stop!!" I yelled at his face. He growled at my face.

"What's wrong, bro?" Boomer asked.

"Ask her!"

"She was with the girls the whole morning, Butch! How could she be with Mitch?" I yelled.

"I don't know. I saw with my own eyes!"

"But you didn't have to hit her!" I sighed.

"What happened to the mission?" Boomer then asked.

"What mission?" Butch asked, still looking angry.

"Kaoru sent you to a mission to spy on Mutsumi, Miyumi and Kahoru. How did it turn out?"

"I don't remember being in a mission. What do you mean?"

I raised an eyebrow. "What did you do in the morning?"

"Breakfast, took a walk in the market place, saw Kaoru with Mitch. That's all."

Boomer and I looked at each other. "Did he fall on his head or something?" Boomer asked.

"No. I think it was from the sneaking," I said. Now I have to take care of my bros. Their minds have been jumbled. And we have to find a solution fast or else this could get worse.

We heard the door slam open. "Have you seen Kaoru?!" Momoko and Miyako yelled.

"No. Why would we when we were chaining him to the bed?" I asked.

Butch's eyes were on fire right now. I walked right up to the girls. "I don't think we should mention Kaoru around him."

"I'll find Kaoru," Boomer whispered and ran off.

"Butch! Calm down!" Miyako yelled.

"How could I?!" he yelled back.

Momoko then smacked him hard on the head with Boomer's baseball bat. He passed out. She sighed. "First Boomer, now, Butch. And where's Kanae?!" she said.

~Meanwhile~

"Why are you working with him?!"

"He helps us in defeating the PPGZ."

"Why are you working with them?"

"I need to help him. I need their help in bringing back my boys. And, no, I'm not taking your help. And let me go!!" she struggled from the chair as she was tied up in chains in a chair.

"No. You will be working with us soon enough," she takes out a syringe.

"You do know that those chemicals won't work in a mermaid like me!"

"Oh, this is a different kind of chem. You'll be with us soon enough. And as soon as you do, you'll be seeing your boys again," she said and injected the chemical into her blood.
