Chapter seven

Tris pov

The girls are almost a month old. Right now Tobias has been staying at my parents house with me most nights to help out with the girls. We're working on getting our own house soon. Tobias and I are always going back and forth from house to house just to be with the girls equally and together.

He is such an amazing dad. He helps out a lot and has been with me every night helping with the girls who don't like to sleep at night, so they are constantly keeping us up.

Tobias and I don't really get a lot of privacy either. We sleep together either if it's at his house or my house, our parents allow us to share a bed but they don't really give us any time to be alone and actually be a couple.

I think the most Tobias and I have done relationship wise is quickly pecking each other's lips and cuddling on the couch.

I miss my boyfriend and our alone times but not to mention we don't even get a lot of times to ourselves because of the girls but when we do it's ruined by our parents.

Tobias goes to school while I stay home with the girls. I'm returning to school next month. The last month of school before graduation.

Tobias hates leaving me to do all the work while he's in school but I tell him it's okay and that I understand.

Today is the senior prom but Tobias and I can't go because we have the twins and if we did want to go we had no one to watch the twins because both of our parents took a small road trip to New York for a music festival.

I sit in the rocking chair in the twins nursery holding Gaby in my arms and feeding her a bottle. Emma is sleeping in her crib.

It's around 7 o'clock and this is about the time we put the girls to bed for the night.

Gaby would be sleeping but she was hungry so I had to feed her a bottle. Hopefully she'll cooperate and fall straight to sleep.

When she's down I burp her and see that she's still fully awake.

"Come on baby it's night night time" I say rocking her in my arms making her sleepy.

I sing a small little gentle tune, which calms her down and makes her sleepy.

After a few minutes of rocking her back and forth she falls asleep. I put her in her crib, careful not to wake her and tip toe out of the room and look for Tobias. He's somewhere in the house.

"I don't even want to look at my phone because I know theres going to be tons of notifications of people at prom." I say to Tobias where ever he is in the living room or kitchen.

I walk into the living room and see him standing with roses and a nicely decorated living room.

The living room is decorated with fairy lights and candles.

I walk up to Tobias and giggle.

"What's all this for" I ask him as he hands me the flowers.

"I know you a little upset that we couldn't go to prom so I decide to bring a little bit of it to you" he says and I smile up at him

"That's the most sweetest thing ever. I have the best boyfriend ever" I say wrapping my arms around his neck

"Well I have the best girlfriend ever" he says and I connect our heads together

"I love you so much" I whisper to him as he puts his hands on my waist

"I love you too" he says back

I stand on my tipie toes and cup his face with my hands.

Our breaths mix as one and then our lips touch. He puts his hands on my back pulling me closer to him and he sighs pulling away.

"I can't let your perfect soft lips distract me from what I had planned" he says and I giggle

He grabs a small box from the table and opens it revealing a crosage. It's made up of pink and purple flowers.

He slides it on my hand and I smile

"You didn't have to do this" I say as he holds my waist.

"I wanted to" he says kissing my head

"Can I have this dance" he says putting a song on.

It's 'she will be loved' by maroon 5

He holds both of my hands and I giggle

"Ah I love this song" I say squealing

"I know" he says laughing

"You're so adorable" he adds and I giggle walking into his arms

"Can I have this dance" he says

"Yes" I smile

'She will be loved' plays and Tobias holds my waist while I keep my arms wrapped around his neck.

We dance around my parents living room and sway to the music. Tobias occasionally sings which makes me giggle.

"Keep singing I find it really hot" I say and we laugh.

"'I don't mind spending everyday, out on your corner in the pouring rain'" he sings and I smile

"Your turn babe" he says

"Look for the girl with the broken smile, ask if she wants to stay awhile" I attempt to sing

"I'm a terrible singer" I say giggling

"No you're not." He says and at the same time we start singing the chorus.

"And she will be loved" we say

The song finishes and Tobias and I laugh.

We look into each other's eyes and walk closer to each other. Our lips touch and we're kissing. My arm wraps around his neck and he puts his hands on my butt picking me up. I wrap my legs around his body and let him take us where ever he wants. All I want is to be with him.

We walk into my room and he lays me on my bed.

We take off our shirts and go to kiss when we both go the same way to kiss and bang our heads.

"Sorry" he says as we laugh

"No I'm sorry" I say still laughing

I put a hand on his face and connect our lips. He puts small kisses on my neck and I moan a little.

We continue to kiss and pull more clothes off. Then you can guess what happens next.

"Thank you for the best prom ever" I say laying on Tobias bare chest with sheets covering us.

"Sorry you couldn't go to real prom" he says rubbing my bare back with his thumb

"It's not you fault" I say looking up at him

"If I was more careful the first few times we wouldnt be parents of twins right now and we would be at prom. So yes it's my-..." he says and I stop him with a kiss.

"Stop" I say putting my hand on his cheek.

"It's not your fault" I add

"I love you" he says

"I love you more" I say and he kisses my head.

We lay in bed and start to fall asleep but are woken up by the babies crying.
