Chapter 7: Sneaky..

Lexi P.O.V

After school I tried calling Lola and she finally answered.

"Hey Lexi." Lola said.

"Hey, where were you today?" I asked.

"Oh, I was sick." She answered. "Still am actually, I have a sore throat and stuff. I might not come to school tomorrow as well, just so you know."

"Oh, that's bad. But not as bad as my problems." I said.

"Really, what's going on?" She asked.

"My dad wants to send me to boarding school."

"What? Why?" She asked.

I explained to her about the fight I had with my dad and how we went to the 'Bright Futures' convention.

"He fell for their trick?" She asked surprised.

"Yeah, I tried to tell him they were just trying to lure him in. But of course he didn't listen." I said irritated. Just going through that night makes me furious.

"Wow, but i'm sure he's not going to send you to that nutcase." She assured.

"You don't know, he was really serious about it. And think I made him more convinced to send me, cause I made him more mad."

"That sucks. Well I gotta go Lexi." Lola said.

"But we just started talking." I whined.

"I know but I have something to do." 

"Fine, see ya, bye." I said.

"Bye." She said and hung up.

I was really hoping to be able to whine about my problems with Lola, she would try to make me feel better. My problems are so bad right now, nobody's life is worse than mine.

Lola P.O.V 

I have the worst life than anyone ever. The only thing I can look forward to these days is my dates with Conner, and I have one tonight. i am so excited I havn't seen him in a while and i really miss him. 

I just got off the phone with Lexi and I lied about being sick. I had to get off the phone to get ready for  my date with Conner. Lexi has been calling me all day and I had to refrain from answering, but I finally decided to answer so she didn't think I was dead or something. Apparently Lexi has some problems but they arn't near as bad as mine. Sometimes I think she's a little self-centered.

I was wearing a cute tube top and some shorts. I had but a lot of makeup on my black eye to cover it, I just hope he dosn't notice. I'm wearing a small amount a jewelry instead of the buckload I usually wear. 

I was on my way out when I bumped into Elsi.

"Hey you look nice." She said.

"T5hanks, are you sure your gonna be able to take care of the boys tonight?" I asked.

"Of course, you go have fun." She said.

"OK, thanks." I said leaving out the door.

I was on my way to a diner on the edge of town. Conner and I picked this place cause it's lame and nobody our age goes there. I took the car and was on my way.

When I got to the diner I spotted Conner in a corner table by himself, obviously waiting for me.

"Hey." I said. He looked up, when he saw me he beamed.

"Hey." He said smiling. Man he had a million dollar smile. I sat down.
