Chapter 8: Confession

Lola P.O.V

 I had just woke up. The room I was in was unfamiliar.

'This isn't my bed?' I thought. 

I turned around and I saw a figure sound asleep next to me.

"Ahhhhh!" I screamed. The figure popped up and  hit his head on the headboard of the bed, that's when I noticed it was Conner.

"What the fuck!" He shouted, rubbing his head.

"Oh. My. Gosh." I said. Conner was looking at me wide-eyed.

"I guess time went away for us, eh?" Conner said jokingly.

"Shit! Elsi must be throwing a fit." I said irritated. I got up quickly. When I looked at Conner I saw he was looking at me wide-eyed with his mouth open. I looked down and saw I was naked! I got the covers off the bed and covered myself.

"Sorry." He apologized. 

"It's OK, you're only human." I said. I saw my cloths on the floor and took them. I was on my way  to the bathroom to change. 

While I was changing I was always thinking. Apparently I just spent the night at Conner's house, I was supposed to be home by midnight. Elsi is gonna be so mad.

When I got back into the room I saw that Conner was changed into some clothing as well.

"So..are you going to school today?" Conner asked.

"No." I said.

"Why not?" He asked. He was obviously really looking forward to school.

"I have some things to take care of at home." I said.

"Lola.."

"What?" I asked.

"I'm tired of this." He said.

"Tired of what?" I asked worried.

"I'm tired of sneaking around." He said.

"You don't want to be with me anymore?" I asked in the verge of tears.

"Of course I do." He said. "It's just I want to be with you in public not behind the scenes if you know what I mean."

Wow, I know he would say eventually but not now, not so soon. I can't just go with him out in public. I need to tell Lexi about us first.

"OK, but you Lexi-" I started, but he cut me off.

"I don't care what Lexi thinks and you shouldn't either." He snapped. I never seen him so upset.

"But Lexi's my best friend." I stated.

"I'm not gonna sneak around anymore Lola." He said. "If you want to be with me, it can't be in secret." After he said that he left the room.

I just let myself out. I know I need to tell Lexi, and I can't stay without Conner for too long. I wouldn't bear it.

Angela P.O.V

I was in huge trouble. My parents grounded me for the rest of the year. Apparently because of my behavioral problems at the dinner, I now dine by myself in my room.

To tell the truth I really don't care, I can sneak out all I want anyway. I have a window in my room, what are they gonna do barricade it? It's Tuesday morning and i'm at school. I was walking across the courtyard when Lexi approached me. The bell was gonna ring in 10 minutes for classes to start.

"Hey Angela, where have you been?" Lexi asked..

"Nowhere." I answered.

"Why weren't you at school yesterday?" She asked. "You never miss school."
